I'm totally blanking on the format this year. How many teams does each region get to send? SKT T1 still has a good chance of making it to Worlds because they won OGN Winter. That's assuming they're going by Circuit points again.

If SKTT1K make the Semis they will be top 2 in circuit points guaranteed. If not, it depends on Blue/NJWS's placing + Ozone's placing. They are already locked into getting into the playoff for the 3rd spot, at worst.

I think it's because they are passionate and want to be the best at what they do, which is what they above mentioned. In general, westerners don't care enough for video games (relative to having a "real" life outside of games)

TSM and CLG roster changes are because they want to be beat C9. I can see C9 as being a team that wants to be #1 in the world, they were the first team to actually get a coaching/analyst I believe, but TSM/CLG's ambition doesn't seem to go beyond winning in NA.

What makes you say that? What evidence is there of that? I think it's so stupid to question the ambition of players in LCS, especially teams that are viable for worlds like C9, TSM, and CLG.

CLG still want to keep nien despite his bad perfomances and no improvements in the past 2 splits. Same with tsm with theoddone/dyrus
