It just sucks that the pool of LCS quality players is so small. If it were bigger, at least the current LCS players would have to be afraid of getting subbed out. Knowing that there is little competition, it is easier for players to get complacent, especially when they aren't in the position of winning or getting into playoffs.

Why did Coast get rid of Mash? I always thought he was a decent player, and Coast didn't even know who they would replace him with, so I assume there was some other reason?

A lot of people are saying he was shit, but I just thought he was below average in the LCS, not awful. He certainly gave me a better impression than Wiz has.

Mash can't play anything other than twitch, and even then he would always just get caught out and cause Coast to lose. (GGU). Wiz is definitely an upgrade imo.

I have no idea how did he play yesterday against LoMoQ and how did he play in previous games, but i will pick Voyboy from those 11/10 times.

If you can end every split 21-7 being 3-1 against every team i don't think you will be pressured a lot. Doublelift was saying openly that LMQ in scrims and LMQ on LAN are two completely different teams and Doublelift and CLG know better than anyone else what is it to be beasts in scrims and then being just mediocre on LAN.

Plus there is last season of LPL, where LMQ were almost the worst team and LPL, even if it was better than it is right now, constructed like NA LCS with nice tops and just bad mids/bottoms.

He has his moments of brilliance but i still think that dropping heavenTime made DTG/TBD/CLB way worse than it was in FXO time.

LMQ are playing against Challenger teams right now. How many good teams are there? Choking CLB? C9T with Bischu/Yazuki who choke every LAN event he plays? Team 8 were fucked by richierich, other teams don't deserve to be named.
Will they go same against NA LCS teams? No. Will they be on level of TSM/CLG/C9 who are clearly WAY better than whole NA LCS? No. Will they be on level of EG/XDG last split? No. So they will be on Dignitas/Curse/Coast level, which is ok if they don't want to be eliminated.

And you just need to ask Cheep about LMQ's chances, even though we were speaking about it 1-2 weeks ago. Middle of the pack - not higher, not lower, if they use this roster. If Uzi comes though, things can change.

Because MashMe was absolutely awful and irrelevant in Summer Split, averaging something like 2,8 kills per game.

I don't like blind hyping. Time will tell how will LoMoQ perform in LCS, right now they have to beat XDG first.

Wouldn't it be cool if we got like a KOTH type format for a once a week bo1/3? Could be LCS+CS teams competing. It's hard for CS teams to get LAN experience, especially with the way competition is set up atm. So LCS teams have a natural advantage.

It's not good thing to have 3/4 relevant guys on each position, when OGN have 8-10 beasts and other guys who still will be relevant in every LCS team.

It's not good thing to have 3/4 relevant guys on each position, when OGN have 8-10 beasts and other guys who still will be relevant in every LCS team.

there's still a solid separation in OGN, they're just so far ahead so their 2nd tier players look great in comparison to NA top tier players.

I don't remember him being that bad, even though he was in the bottom half. I don't recall him suiciding or getting caught nearly as much as Zuna, and he actually seemed to be pretty solid and carry his team relatively often.

Yeah his twitch was where he shined most and he was pretty average/below average (relative to other LCS players) otherwise, but I am just not impressed by Wiz at all who really adds nothing to the team other than having a handful of impressive games. He also gets caught plenty and just makes some mechanically poor plays.

In any case I always felt Nintendude was the biggest problem back then for Coast (and still is) so I feel like he should have been the place to start in terms of replacing teammates. I could definitely see Mashme being replaced if they found someone better to replace him with right away, but benching him and then having tryouts afterwards seemed questionable to me, given that IMO they had bigger problems.
