They should at least swap out Vooby/Cop and try out Mashme/Duocek imo.

mashme was so shit last season in lcs, i don't think he's gotten any better. i think cop still prolly better than mash.

It just sucks that the pool of LCS quality players is so small. If it were bigger, at least the current LCS players would have to be afraid of getting subbed out. Knowing that there is little competition, it is easier for players to get complacent, especially when they aren't in the position of winning or getting into playoffs.

Why did Coast get rid of Mash? I always thought he was a decent player, and Coast didn't even know who they would replace him with, so I assume there was some other reason?

A lot of people are saying he was shit, but I just thought he was below average in the LCS, not awful. He certainly gave me a better impression than Wiz has.

ADC is probably best relatively good spot NA has, especially at LCS level.

Dat mashme 1v2, he thinks he's DL.

Mash can't play anything other than twitch, and even then he would always just get caught out and cause Coast to lose. (GGU). Wiz is definitely an upgrade imo.

Lol, Duocek was atrocious whole Challenger Series.
I have no idea how did he play yesterday against LoMoQ and how did he play in previous games, but i will pick Voyboy from those 11/10 times.
And MashMe had his chances in LCS already, it was bad.

Not higher, probably a bit lower.

which means teams like dignitas, curse, maybe even clg get more pressure and have to step up their game.

TSM, C9 and CLG are 2 heads above LMQ if not more. There is absolutely no pressure.

Even Dignitas and Curse with non-slumping Voyboy are better than LMQ.

But EG, XDG and Coast are somewhere near, right.

Absolutely no pressure is a bit overstating it don't you think. Even XDG could take of games from every team in the LCS. So how would you be able to say a team that in skrims are getting the respect from the top LCS teams be a non factor in pressure?

I have to agree. Never was a big fan of brokenshard.

If you can end every split 21-7 being 3-1 against every team i don't think you will be pressured a lot. Doublelift was saying openly that LMQ in scrims and LMQ on LAN are two completely different teams and Doublelift and CLG know better than anyone else what is it to be beasts in scrims and then being just mediocre on LAN.

Plus there is last season of LPL, where LMQ were almost the worst team and LPL, even if it was better than it is right now, constructed like NA LCS with nice tops and just bad mids/bottoms.

About Brokenshard.
He has his moments of brilliance but i still think that dropping heavenTime made DTG/TBD/CLB way worse than it was in FXO time.

Well if you're going to bring up Doublelift's comment, you should probably take in context that DL meant LMQ takes LAN more seriously than scrim/NACL ... so umm yeah.

You seem to have a lot against LMQ though, you're consistently the one downplaying them even going so far as to say in some other thread that they were going to struggle against C9T during the finals???

Lol dude, use brains once.
First of all, i was hoping that C9T will win because i clearly support C9E and C9T, not cheering a second for C9.Prime.
And i have nothing against LoMoQ, they seem funny and humble guys.

LMQ are playing against Challenger teams right now. How many good teams are there? Choking CLB? C9T with Bischu/Yazuki who choke every LAN event he plays? Team 8 were fucked by richierich, other teams don't deserve to be named.
Will they go same against NA LCS teams? No. Will they be on level of TSM/CLG/C9 who are clearly WAY better than whole NA LCS? No. Will they be on level of EG/XDG last split? No. So they will be on Dignitas/Curse/Coast level, which is ok if they don't want to be eliminated.

And you just need to ask Cheep about LMQ's chances, even though we were speaking about it 1-2 weeks ago. Middle of the pack - not higher, not lower, if they use this roster. If Uzi comes though, things can change.

Awfully defensive are we? You don't have to justify your opinion to me lol. I know where LMQ is likely to place and I'm pretty sure I'm on the same page with Cheep on it so I don't really need to ask him for it.

Ye, 28-0 LMQ, sadly enough you will be sad.
And i hate opinions without justifying, just fyi. They can't be called as opinions if you have no arguments in their defence.

Actually that's what opinions are. They're by nature. Much like your justifications where you're more or less just putting your own hyperbolic opinions.

I don't like blind hyping. Time will tell how will LoMoQ perform in LCS, right now they have to beat XDG first.

Wouldn't it be cool if we got like a KOTH type format for a once a week bo1/3? Could be LCS+CS teams competing. It's hard for CS teams to get LAN experience, especially with the way competition is set up atm. So LCS teams have a natural advantage.

It's not good thing to have 3/4 relevant guys on each position, when OGN have 8-10 beasts and other guys who still will be relevant in every LCS team.

there's still a solid separation in OGN, they're just so far ahead so their 2nd tier players look great in comparison to NA top tier players.

Curse Academy will be just dropped to another Curse's company.
Stakes are high, don't think that they will just throw.

I don't remember him being that bad, even though he was in the bottom half. I don't recall him suiciding or getting caught nearly as much as Zuna, and he actually seemed to be pretty solid and carry his team relatively often.

Yeah his twitch was where he shined most and he was pretty average/below average (relative to other LCS players) otherwise, but I am just not impressed by Wiz at all who really adds nothing to the team other than having a handful of impressive games. He also gets caught plenty and just makes some mechanically poor plays.

In any case I always felt Nintendude was the biggest problem back then for Coast (and still is) so I feel like he should have been the place to start in terms of replacing teammates. I could definitely see Mashme being replaced if they found someone better to replace him with right away, but benching him and then having tryouts afterwards seemed questionable to me, given that IMO they had bigger problems.

Edit: Huh that was strange, I quoted this quote, backed out and then quoted another one... responded to it, and then it replied to this quote.... I meant to reply to wei2coolman
