I wasn't trying to undermine him, I have nothing but respect for his journalistic work, he's one of my favorite progaming-related personalities and one of my favourite interviewers overall. However, I was suprised when him and Monte were talking as equals in previous episodes of the show, because I didn't think Thorin had the same knowledge and insight as Monte. And the latest episode shown that in fact Thorin was just stating his opinions based on his gut feeling, without the same thought process behind them as Monte. Summoning Insight is still my favourite League show, but once they get more guests, I wish Thorin will step more into a hosting role while Monte and the rest of the guys will do the talking.

Complexity Black vs. Coast / Curse / dig: Complexity's best shot would be against an out-of-shape Coast. Nintendude isn't very good (though probably better than Brokenshard), Shiphtur's been inconsistent lately (though the same applies to Prolly), and Wizfujiin has been a disappointment overall and could lose to Robertxlee if Robert shows up with his game face on; howerver, Zion's playstyle is similar to but flat out better than Westrice's, and even then Complexity would be further disadvantaged from LAN stage fright, so I'd give them a 20% chance on a good day vs. Coast. Worst case for Complexity would be to face off vs. dig or Curse on a day that Robertxlee has no idea what he's doing, in which case they'll just get schooled and humiliated. I'm gonna be generous and give Complexity a 10% chance overall to get into LCS.

C9T vs. EG: Yazuki is probably better than Innox and Altec is better than Yellowpete; it's on them to carry C9T to victory. Pobelter is better than Bischu though, and Krepo is better than Gleebglarbu. I'm giving EG a slight lead overall thanks to better coordination from having played together for longer and that I'm expecting C9T to suffer from LAN stage fright a bit, but there's a very real possibility that Yazuki or Altec will crush their lanes and snowball into game wins; I'd give EG a 60-40 edge for the series, I'm expecting it to be close.

LMQ vs. XDG: Regardless of what the LMQ apologists will say about it, I was really underwhelmed by their recent series vs. C9T and I think they're going to fall way short of the hype. That said, it won't really take another Quantic (Cloud 9) to snatch up XDG's spot with how they've been playing. This looks similar to the C9T vs. EG matchup in terms of relative strength (very evenly matched), but with the challenger team being a bit stronger in the case of LMQ. I'd give LMQ a very slight 55-45 edge.
