He is by far the best top laner in West. Sadly no Allstar for him.

I dunno ... NA has quite a few scary top laners. Ackerman, Balls & Dyrus are all pretty darn good.

Ackerman is Chinese.

oh stuff it. ackerman is NA now. if they play in NA scene, they're NA player. deal with it.

To each his own. I always count players towards the region they come from, where they learnt to play the game. Not where they currently reside.
Even if Mvp plays in EU LCS, he is still Korean.

When CLG.eu playe din Korea they were still European, not Korean.

Individual players different than a team.

I don't really keep up with the news, where is the rest of Gambit where NiP subs were needed?

He is in NiP, who have good chances to play in LCS next split. So he is fine.

Yeah I know he has decent chances for next split, but I sadly only noticed how good he is between this split and worlds.
Missed my chance to take a picture with him at Gamescom, because I didn't have a clue about Lemondogs at all.

I think it's arguable now but once LMQ gets into NA LCS, I would consider them NA rather than Chinese for sure. But that's another topic for another thread.

Playing to represent a scene, is very different than playing a tournament hosted in another country.

NiP should be happy. Hulberto after shaky game yesterday played really well and got some stage experience. That will be very important in relegation.

3 of em have visa issues, it expired i believe, and were unable to play. Genja cant speak anything else then Russian so he was no use with subs so its Edward only left.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Technically, they moved to NA.
So it's like [A] being European team and EG being NA squad.

Their sponsor is Ibuypower, I don't think they are in any way affiliated with Royal anymore.

What is it with LoL spectators and nationalism, it doesn't matter because there are no such elements in the official season. If LMQ reache Worlds they won't represent China or NA, they will represent NA LCS. Same for Bjergsen at All-Stars.

He went so ham I almost felt bad for XDG.

I don't think he had to get so personal in the article but he's understandably pissed since the manager of XDG said some nasty stuff about Richard in the XDG management AMA yesterday.

It's pretty obvious though that XDG's roster moves aren't in the best interests of it's players. Forcing multiple players out of their comfort zones simply doesn't work in any game, be it LoL, basketball, football, baseball, etc.
