probably the biggest weakness of garen right now is his CDs are way too long and he can't build CDR because his CDs dont benefit from it usually you use most of your Q to close the gap especially after removing a slow and not for spamming it and yeah E takes 3 seconds before counting the cd at all | ||

he's just like renek but he sucks more in lane but then you get to play GAREN he sucks vs poke unless you can flash silence with good follow up, he's good vs assassins and not good if they have too much dive usually because his burst is bad you want to use your extreme tankiness to zone about half their team and your %missing hp execute to win the "focus the tank" wars. | ||

Generally in solo q i find garens either get a large lead from snowballing their lane, and stomp everyone, or they just farm for 30 minutes then don't really do anything. Should you try to just try to drag teamfights out as long as possible/force them to blow stuff on him by having your carries/squishies kite back past him or something? Otherwise all the assassins/cc people just run past him and kill everyone, and then the garen is 1v3/1v4 and maybe gets 1 or 2, but it's kind of over by that point :S | ||
