Alliance gave them the openings, Gambit ran with them beautifully. Thats pretty much the lesson of this game

Could have played Ori mid with Malphite, and change out something better for jungle, would have been much better team comp.

Thinking about it again they must have they must have thought Gambit goes top with their duo lane. There is no way they could have thought going 2v1 there was a good idea. Especially with Nunu not even going top as well.

It just didn't look like [A] had a very clear plan with the Nunu jungle :/ Esp in mid/late.

I've thought this for like four-five months and I'm not basing it on just this one game or anything but Froggen/xPeke both get too much attention when EU has Alex Ich. I'd take Alex Ich as my mid laner over anyone else from EU period. His champion pool is big, his team fighting is great, he actually plays aggressive in lane (completely contrary to xPeke and even Froggen isn't that aggro in lane). I know people give Alex lots of credit as a strong laner and I could just be fanboying as I watch vods of him all the time but I seriously think he's the best mid laner in EU.

Gambit played like they always play with Kha'Zix.
Create picks - splitpush - create picks - win.

GG to my fellow Russians hope Alex is happy especially when wife is near him (:

Do want Roccat to win right now, but something tells me that Fnatic will stomp.
Dunno why.

So far in season 4 I'd agree. xPeke is underperforming and Froggen hasn't been impressive since S2

Is there anyone who doesn't have Alex at worst #2 in EU? xPeke could be seen traditionally as a "best player on the best team" #1 pick. I don't think your team would be bad off to have either of them, though.

It just didn't look like [A] had a very clear plan with the Nunu jungle :/ Esp in mid/late.

Nunu in jungle is not something you can just "pick" anymore, you have to have a very clean PvE plan to go with it.
You have to get the right 2v1, and 3v1 push, with a very clear buff/dragon control strategy to go with it. Just leave the nunu to SKT plz.

Alliance strategy was terrible. They went 1vs2 while Genja/Edward is getting destroy every game 2vs2. Didn't use nunu for counter jungle/pushing and Froggen pushed lane early game for no reason.

Just trying to make sure TL votes for the right guy again this year.

Maybe it isn't even that people think Froggen/xPeke are better those two are just more popular, idk.

People usually rate peke higher because Gambit just self-destructs against Fnatic for reasons only a comprehensive scientific study could explain. This results in Peke destroying Alex mid

Basing on what i'm reading for last 3 weeks, Froggen will get something close to 10% lols.
I really expect Alex to lead EU again, this time to finals.

Even though, i'm sad for Genja already because Rekkles will get something like ~60% because of Fnatic fanboys ):

Last Spring Gambit were demolishing Fnatic almost every game before Finals where some shit happened and Gambit fed in last 2 games :D
Hope they will win tomorrow finally.
