People haven't really been mentioning this, but LD's current roster are the guys who stand to get the most screwed over by this. Would set a horrible precedent and take a lot of power away from the players if this becomes a standard practice by the big organizations.

Shlaya failed his own LCS qualfication hard, at an even earlier stage. It is beyond me how he deserves the spot any more than NiP players.

Well, he's the one who's currently contracted by LD, whereas Nukeduck left LD for a different team. And after that showing today, hard to say Nukeduck is better than Shlaya. Neither of them played particularly well. I guess the problem is more, if it's going to be the same 40-50 "best players EU" all shuffled around to different rosters every season, and even the ones who get knocked out in relegations just get rehired into different teams, then what's the point? It's far more exciting to see new (to LCS) faces like KMT, CW, and most of Lemondogs come in, and see how they do. I'd much rather have a situation where LD bombs out, and loses their relegation match to NiP for the summer split, than have a situation where NiP just outright buys LD's spot for the spring split.

those must be deserved by coming from the amateur series. If some manager fails and his team disbands, a new team would go up. Ofc, there should be penalties for dropping out midseason. For the managers, not the players, who are often under 20 and dont understand this stuff.

LD wants to drop out of the LCS? Great, invite NiP, SHC, MYM, and a 4th top challenger team to a "Last Chance" tournament where the winner gets the spot. More tournaments, more views, better storylines, more exposure, and less accusations of collusion. Everybody wins.

Roster changes could only be done if majority of players on the team agree.

https://www.facebook.com/ZorozeroLOL/posts/249941278502216 Would be such a shame if he retired. Best top laner EU. I think what NiP should do is play in challenger tournaments and try to qualify for summer split. They could still go to worlds then. Players thinking about retiring is also Riots fault, because they created this artificial rift between LCS and "amateur" games. They made all non-LCS play worthless.
