[S3 Worlds] Quarterfinals - Page 6
Forum Index > LoL Tournaments |
Two things as public notice: 1. + Show Spoiler [Quarterfinals 1 spoiler] + Congrats to Fnatic, they played superbly and glgl to them in the Semis! No one is saying that Fnatic only won because of the level 1 in Game 3. Please keep the nationalistic statements out of our subforum. 2. Riot's Worlds format is atrocious. Let's not beat a dead horse here. I will certainly be talking to Riot's eSports dept about it in the near future. I simply ask everyone to be civil. Humble in victory, graceful in defeat. Enjoy the games~ -Neo, Sept 23rd, 3:20 PM PDT, page 120

So many people used to say Expession is the best top laner ever, all the time. But then they just majorly choked when it mattered and Expession seemed to suffer the most from that. Let's hope this time they will bring it. Reach, please shape your boys' mentality to be super clutch and resistant to pressure! Yeah, all the Korean pros and commentators expected NJBS to make a big splash in Champions Summer, and we all saw how that turned out. NJBS was a bit shaky against NJWS in NLB, but there's been plenty of time for them to train (and the hype to build) since then. I'm curious how the latest patches will have affected them, as both Pray and Expession play Triforce champs (I remember Expession playing Jax in NLB). On the bright side, there's almost no chance of Prayven appearing and torpedoing their chances like against CTU in Champions Summer.

Seeded teams picked where their team will be placed in the bracket. After that, they picked their opponent. Edit: I mean they drawed their opponents (like in a lottery), not choose who they will face.

The teams with seeds had their captains walk out on stage and drew 2 cards from Red Beard. One for where they would be placed in the bracket and the next one was for who they would face.

as far as i remember they won the finals 3-0 without much problem while fnatic won 3-1 vs Lemondog but the games were pretty close. but as i said before fnatic is on a hot streak which i feel only asians can stop now (maybe there are some asians in c9? i didnt notice). so i hope fnatic do advance, but no loser bracket is really strange and annoying (like there are many examples when losking braket team wins the whole tournament). go EU!

Also i can't help but find it amusing EU still has more teams in the Quarterfinals then NA even without a bye.

How do you decide who you want to win when you want them to play vs Asians but you want Fnatic to advance zzz Hope for the series to go the distance? Enough said. I root for both teams as well. It might be bittersweet but at least one of them get a chance to advance! :V Better than both of them going out in the first round of elimination.
