Two things as public notice: 1. + Show Spoiler [Quarterfinals 1 spoiler] +Congrats to Fnatic, they played superbly and glgl to them in the Semis! No one is saying that Fnatic only won because of the level 1 in Game 3. Please keep the nationalistic statements out of our subforum. 2. Riot's Worlds format is atrocious. Let's not beat a dead horse here. I will certainly be talking to Riot's eSports dept about it in the near future. I simply ask everyone to be civil. Humble in victory, graceful in defeat. Enjoy the games~ -Neo, Sept 23rd, 3:20 PM PDT, page 120 |

I mean they won the best of 5 to get the first seed before this tournament. and I heard players saying Royal's AD and AP carries are really good.
I didn't know whether Fnatic or c9 would win... but Fnatic definitely stepped their game up this time around.
I still think they'll lose to Royals though... only way to win is take advantage of Royal's weak jungler and relatively weaker top lane.
NJBS, I still think they aren't that strong. Though they proved themselves with a win over Gambit. They'll lose to SKT.
I hope you are right...a China vs Korea finals will be my dream come true.

Need to bring up All-Stars and make China mad, so they can go full power.

SKT vs Royal would be such a dream finals, that'd be pretty much the best case scenario

Do you think if Vulcan had Robert they'd have made it out of group stages? Makes sense that if they're going to make moves it would be in the off-season.

Edit: Although I think they should have brought in robert much sooner.

team xpeke is gonna have to work some miracles to take this one.

hopefully Fnatic gets rolled and Riot's plan for foreign interest in the finals backfires. I can only hope
Wasnt the brackets decided by teams drafting other teams live? Or did I dream this?

I dont understand reasoning like this, if Sword and fnatic both win their semis wouldn't that be the best final since they beat their opponents in a bo5?
I'm expecting skt t1 vs Royal, too but I don't see how it would be the best case scenario.

Is Zuna's brother not the coach? I doubt they'd sub him out.

Yep. Non-Zuna ADC helps, but that still leaves the glaring hole of "Throwbargains" decisionmaking past the early game lead they almost always accumulate.

Are semis and finals both bo5s?

I think Zuna can make some plays in the later stages, he is just not that good in the early phases, but I definetely rate him higher than the likes of cop and genja.

Which would've been fine for me. If midway through the season they moved Robert to the ADC spot then I'd have no issue. But waiting until worlds would've been silly. Their chances to advance from the group was next to nothing with or without Robert; so they might as well play it out with their normal team. Zuna might not be great, but even a better ADC isn't going to suddenly turn around Vulcan and make them a powerhouse.

Because Fnatic's style could just match well against Royal, but fall completely apart against SKT. Both teams being good (mechanically and strategically) means that they can adapt and play a good series. It's kinda like SC2 where they could be good at TvZ and win semifinals, but get crushed in TvP in the finals.

but royal's style could be good vs fnatic and inferior to skt (& vice versa), too?
