It's kind of endemic across NA honestly. Dig held on to Kiwi all season despite a horrible performance. Curse has very clear weaknesses and made no effort to change them. CLG held onto Chauster.
Loyalty seems to trump building the best team possible in NA, which is something you can't really afford in competitive sports.

Will this be the record for highest gold gap?

They could have kicked him or switched Looper in, but they stuck with him, he improved, found his role and they won OGN Spring. You still believe in Dade? lol. Huh. No. Dade has been awful. If he can't expand his champion pool or learn new champions before LoL Proleague or OGN Winter, he should be benched. I'm talking about Homme. Homme has the exact same problem as dade but even worse
Because Homme, even when he was bad, was still just the #4 guy on Ozone. Dade is still used as a #1/#2 guy, so his terribleness is the difference between Ozone winning and losing.

Except he doesn't get banned out because everyone is too busy banning Dade so it's aight. Plus, it's not like Looper get to pick anyone else anyway with how carry priority is distributed in Ozone right now.
Hardly worth it to ban out the long time captain and shotcaller just so you get another top that plays the same thing he did.

there are amazing teams sitting at home while mineski and gg.eu is at worlds, it's so stupid.

My boy doublelift couldn't play vs imp and show him who is the better adc

I'm on the edge of my seat.
I have no idea who is going to win this game.
This is extremely exciting. What a finale.

Plus you have Homme's intangibles - he makes good calls and synergizes well with his teammates, why bench him if Looper's just going to play the same champs and have no potential positive effect on keeping Dade and Imp in line?

Even if Homme was worse than Looper. I would still take him over Looper, why suddenly replace your shot caller/captain/guy that carried you to ogn and worlds.

Now when they're in worlds? What the fuck.
If you want to go for long term improvement in your squad you fucking do it after you're done playing in the most important tournament of the season.

At worlds? It's like having a football team make it to the super bowl and then switch the quarterback, it's stupid.

This crowd cheering for mineski.

There's the offseason for that.
You don't see Fnatic replacing Puszu with Rekkles.

Feels like Snoy never uses Lee Singer ult except to KS.
Just me?

This is extremely exciting. What a finale. Mineski got this in the bag! There is no way they can throw this game! Not even Ozone subbing in for Mineski could throw this.

Homme is like the dad but no one here clearly knows what he contributed in game. They've had so much time to scrim and practice and now that they've still remained with looper it's clear that homme was performing terribly. Homme is not the quarterback. He's like a linebacker and a mediocre one at that. It's not like homme is off the team either. He probably gives them a lot of advice outside the game.
