Judging from the way they've drafted, it feels like EU on the whole has the best handle on how to play this version--comfortable with the relevant champs/playstyles/etc. This doesn't feel like a coincidence to me when EU Regionals finished earlier than the other regions, and they got the most time to practice the patch.

All the other regions had their #1 seeded and are only playing the group stages with their #2/#3 teams. EU should be doing better

Najin Sword is not #1 in Korea tbh though.

I don't think more time to practice is helping as much as the patch simply fits the European teams styles.

It's fucking impossible to get a game going on NA server right now.

I don't care about results, I'm talking about how comfortable the teams seem playing 3.10a based on how they're drafting.

Suggesting that they'd go out of their way and take such risk out of some bullshit region-solidarity is downright delusional.

If a weaker team beats a stronger team once, you can possibly say things like "throw on purpose," but when one team has consistently beaten the other over the course of the last half year, not even dropping a single game, don't even dare suggest that.

Like seriously for going 3-0 Gambit played like total shit that game and I think everyone is a bit surprised at how badly they comped.

Like what the fuck your plan at level 3 is to dive two revive passive champs with escapes on abilities under tower in a 2v3 situation? THAT'S your plan?

If Gambit really did "throw" then they're extremely arrogant and ballsy for counting Ozone out this early.

Ozone is very much capable of beating Gambit and Fnatic, even if they're on poor form as of right now.

The baron attempt by gambit was their last chance to get back into the game. I also feel like Leona is really good vs the so-called linear champs Xin and Shyvana.

What? If the groups were only 1 round, then maybe you can say that. Even though Ozone played poorly, they are still a world class team. I don't think Gambit would risk it. Because if Ozone can 4-0 the next round. It will likely be Gambit v Fnatic for other spot.

TBH Gambit's team comp lost the second that Genja had to back during the 3 man dive + Alex not getting Darien fed early. Shyvana needed to basically play like a Singed with relentless tower pressure would have worked really well with the open inhib) with Alex being able to punish anyone who tries to stop him.

Edit, and that is why they shouldn't have first picked TF, because that is just too easy to counter.

Also: That explanation is why Dlift was right + wrong about the comp. It wasn't a Teamfight comp, it was a brute force splitpush comp.

And Fnatic isnt really a weaker team either. They are pretty equal to Gambit, if not slightly better normally. And they always beat Gambit. No way the Russians would do that.

I think counting Ozone out and throwing Fnatic a bone because you're confident Ozone won't win against you next time is just as stupid as a dive like that.

The Chinese teams do. They also use support annie and fizz. Bad theory is bad.

source? I occasionally watch chinese pro teams and i havent seen a single one with either of them

Some of the Royal games during round 2 of LPL summer. I think this Shyvanna did OK. She was 1/5 or something like that because first of all she is the tank line which soaks the damage, and Darien dived in a couple of times with no other team member backing her up. The game was lost because of Alex and Genja without doubt.

It would be incredibly stupid to throw with Samsung having the possibility to claim one of the top 2 spots. They're playing for a million dollars. TBH I think you're dumb for even suggesting it, LOL.

When your immediate conclusion is that Fnatic won because Gambit basically match fixed, and not because they just had a bad game (or god forbid, Fnatic just played well), idk how you can expect me not to react poorly to that.

You need to calm down. You weren't the only one who thought this anyways. See:

and probably a few people on reddit that I don't feel like searching for.
