I'm sure they try, but improving as a team actually needs so, so, so much incredibly hard and often emotionally really exhausting work, espcially if there are deeply rooted problems within the team, as I think we can assume must have been the case for CLG for a long time. I suppose that's why Korean teams often pick their players not only based on skill, but largely on attitude, work-ethic, personality, ability to be coached etc.,

Seriously lol. I wonder if it wouldn't be better for him to cut his losses now and disassociate himself from them xD
Monte pls save clg.
He would (maybe underservedly) also have gotten a lot of the credit if CLG won. So he has to deal with this as well.

He's seriously hurting his credentials if he continues to associate with CLG. It's pretty obvious that his impact is minimal, whatever the reasons might be. Though I guess his contract will end after S3, anyway - doesn't sound very CLG-ish to set up something long term that is not about Chauster/DLift/Hotshot

I trust that Monte isn't giving CLG bad advice. He doesn't strike me as that kind of person. I think it's more a case of him being in KR so not actually being with CLG to coach them in person (which makes a big difference). I also wonder how much CLG takes in. Idk. Not my job to speculate.

Chauster is there for what, 2 years now? More? You can't train someone who is T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E. Pick a random challenger support and I garen-tee you he will outclass him. Not that it's a big feat or anything.
Chauster was pretty good when CLG was in KR and before be went to the jungle. His Ali was scary.
Yeah, so Chauster reached his skill-cap 15 months ago whil everyone else around him improved leaps and bounds (well maybe not everyone, especially in the immediate vicinity ~~)
His play now is worse than it's ever been. Maybe it's "I used to be good" mentality. Maybe it's something else. I don't know and it's not my place to speculate. his play was bad.
More pressing is the fact that CLG decision making still has a lot of flaws which is disappointing.
I honestly thought the presence of nydushermain would pressure chauster into getting better (Look at how snoopeh improved bounds with the pressure of shacker on EG) but it seems to haven't I wouldn't be surprised if chausterlift just refused to allow nydushermain to actually be tried out as a main support and just have him because you gotta have subs or something.
Wait Nydushermain is sub for CLG?
They took on nydushermain as CLG's sub at the start of August, it seems like it meant nothing though.
Oh I did not know that. They should be using Nydus on starting line up imo.
Is Nydus a TL'er?
No idea about TL'er, but he is on TBD attempting to qualify. He is one of the better support/zyra players

Maybe.I just really don't understand how is it possible for a team with decent players(excluding one) to have so many bad games and 0 team synergy.I am pretty sure 5 random challengers from either region would perfrom better.

Yep, probably. Dlift respects Chauster too much I think, and cause he is CLG pretty much they wont kick Chauster. Sad but what can you do

Thank God I don't have to watch any more CLG anywhere close to the top of NA. Hopefully Vulcan/C9 win out and we get two teams that can actually compete at worlds.
Both of them will get crushed.
I think Vulcun/C9 could beat any non-Korean or Chinese team easily. Minus maybe Fnatic.
I disagree with Vulcun. I think they're very strong as a team, but a lot of the EU teams would give them trouble because Mancloud would be up against Bjergsen, xPeke, Alex Ich, Nukeduck, etc., instead of Scarra, Regi, Link, etc. Vulcun's biggest advantage to me is having the strongest midlaner in NA and that goes away once you put him up against most of the EU powerhouses.

Yes, I the thrash to be taken out today, so I can enjoy a good competition tomorrow, without getting my brain hurt by seeing such players as Chauster and Kiwi. If I wanted to watch random Diamond guys I'd pick a public spectate game.

I also have the feeling no other team would want Chauster.
