Ahri is a friggin strong midgame. I've nagged Jacky about it a lot but Curse doesn't trust him to play her. Scarra also said it's takes too much practice to get good with her. But R+E not too difficult and is a 1500 range catch. She also kites like a beast.

I was wondering why I saw Jacky play Ahri more in solo queue and scrims. Every time I see it in scrims he does quite well.

Why is Regi building so many mana items? RoA, chalice and now tear. I guess it helps split push and objectives.

The only thing I can think of is that the chalice is to stop ahri from bum rushing him once he hits 6 with the extra MR and will give him some extra mana regen the lack of tears early provides.

Roa and tear are pretty much standard. Chalice was an early buy to stay in lane vs ahri. Ahri destroys Karthus without magic resist and would be able to dive him at lvl 6.

I thought he had gotten Chalice instead of Tear to guard against Ahri's burst and was impressed by that decision, but now I'm seriously questioning not rushing AP if he's gonna get both mana items.
