I think it does not matter that it sets you back, if your 5v5 teamfights are so much stronger (due to the teamcomps) that just being safe early on is enough. The only chance for the VES comp was to get picks and snowball with them. With these compositions they did not need a high ap Karthus so quickly. Maybe there are better options that achieve the same though (cataclyst before tear for example). | ||
