Loser's bracket. In all honesty, I'd give them good odds against EU (going to bet on KR here), and CN are the heavy favorites to take the tourney entirely. Where either EU/KR will be waiting for them. I don't see NA win that either. There are alot of holes in NA teams and individuals as well. They are far behind CN. The composure of CN after losing like 8k in gold is insane. They are in the similar situation with NA in game one but instead of losing really quick they hang on and come back. Thats alot of work there, NA isn't capable of doing any of that yet.

wtf 5 casters for Korea -_-

Overall I think NA did a pretty damn good job considering the expectations. They kept up with the Chinese on their home territory. A few different calls and maybe they'd have won those matches. I'm sad, but at least they didn't get stomped like everyone said they would be.

This. It was vayne and sona defending vs 5 for like 10 seconds. All they had to do was have malphite initiate on EITHER of them. I would've picked sona to get rid of crescendo. and take the tower. If China fought for it, they would've been obliterated. I just don't understand what they were doing.

Well to be fair NA was supposed to win early game with that team comp. Too bad they really couldn't press the advantage before China's late game comp started to spin in motion.

I'd say EU has a debatable advantage at the mid and jungle positions(especially because the jungler has 2 of his teammates on board unlike KR), ad has to go to korea and I would say the supports are pretty even with mayb a slight korea advantage, the top lane though korea is touted as having the best top laners in the world I really have no idea how Soaz stacks up.

Agreed, the amount of pressure outside must be pretty hard. Normal LCS studio and the outcome could be diffrent in that game. Maybe

KR lacking in experience? You must mean less time bootcamping I assume.
I wouldn't doubt EU's ability to pull off upset, but NA only has a chance of upsetting SEA at best.

NA had a really good timing mid game where they had massive burst to abuse the itemisation and power level on the Chinese team. Ryze was greedy with that RoA-Tear build but NA just sat around farming. They could have just walked up 5 man to a tower and threaten to execute anyone who dared come close. But they didn't.
The Baron was bad but at that point it was already slipping away. Baron just sealed the deal.

Doesn't matter if the china team is on there home turf I highly doubt they have more experience and skill then the korean team Ehh its debatable, keep in mind that Korea has had the least practice time out of all the regions except maybe SEA

The problems here is the bear got all the fuking kill. I mean a 7-0 bear is not that good while Dianna and Urgot got like nothing in kills. If the gold was spread out better for NA the game might be difference. And ofc minus the tower dive.

Are the games gonna start pretty much right away or are we gonna have to wait an hour?

How was the baron bad?The baron was a good call.Their inability to time smite and abilities was the problem lol.

i wouldn't be surprised at a 2-1 eu win at this point. but anything goes
The problem here is that EU has mentioned that they have no had much practice time together. See this:
Q: There was some trouble getting sOAZ into the country. Will your lack of training have influence on your upcoming matches?
sOAZ: Of course, as we've missed four days of practice. It's worse for us and better for the other teams, but we'll talk more today and see what we can do against the Koreans.

Maybe I think they got too soft playing against the bottom 4 teams in LCS and their inability to close games. They figured they could do nothing and still pull it out even with mistakes. I'm sorry, but these other teams are actually trying to win. Not like they have more matches tomorrow, but like this is the only match they will ever play.
