EG is probably the luckiest team in professional LoL.
At this rate teams are going to be begging not to play them at future events for fear of restarts. Congrats to them though, hopefully they can get back on form soon and regain their spot as #2 in Europe.

Such a bummer about AAA though. Great series (aside from the glaring technical issues).

Except then you actually look at game three, and notice that the momentum was back on EG's favor when it was decided to restart that game. EG was up in dragons(i might be wrong here. it couldve been 1-1) as well as team fighting advantage seeing as how koggers was 3-0. They had CW's top jungle essentially fully warded.

Yeah, I was actually surprised when they said Froggen typed in chat that nobody could play like this. It looked like EG was pushing an advantage at that point, and when he threw off his headset it actually looked like a few of the other EG members wanted to keep playing.

Honestly momentum is overrated. They got a get out of jail free card but the pause was too much for their inexperience that is all.Don't see how getting a new chance to play early game after you lost can be so demoralizing lol.

When CW makes big plays and dominate game 2, there's barely any applause. When EG pushes down an outer tower, massive cheers and whoops start, overpowering the commentators. That's what I find annoying.

Of course. It was a different game. As people were talking about momentum, I am continuing on that process. The momentum was in EG's favor when the game was essentially restarted. That's all. That could just as easily turned around on EG with the restart. Restarting a game is gamble no matter what. It just turned out EG played better while CW didn't. It felt very much like CW forgot their plan of attack. It was really odd to see Wickd left alone in top lane. He is usually a decent target for teams playing against EG as he doesn't play the best when he is kept down.

Also good news, Wolves with play either Sinners Never Sleep or TCM-Gaming in the ups/downs, they avoid MYM and ALTERNATE.

On the other hand, EG was nearly 2k gold up that third game and just took down two turrets with no response so It was probably more like 55-45.

CW moaners seem to be ignoring that EG really really destroyed CW in game 3. The 'momentum' seems to be a bit of an excuse, EG wins 1 and 3b hard, CW wins 2 hard, 3a was equal, seriously, stop pretending like they stole this win or something, they outplayed CW hard in two games so they deserve to win

I think it's really funny that this sort of situation has happened twice to EG but I don't even understand how you could hate that team. I think they play a really boring style, sure. But I'm pretty sure their team consists of the most likeable guys in western LoL.

Bo5 should really help though that there are no upsets.
