Ok I'm probably a bit harsh and this strat was probably a legit counter to something in particular, but I still think they need AT LEAST a new ADC, I'd have to re-watch Katowice, but he left me really unsatisfied at that event, and that game he achieved almost nothing, fking up on First blood and then losing the lane to twitch / nunu /rant off PS : I'm not saying he's so bad he deserves gold 5, just that at a pro level, he's really behind the rests of europe's big teams AD carries. ( IMHO ) I think one of the biggest problems with replacing Rekkles was that they weren't a lot of free agent ADC on the market. Yellowstar was the best and most experienced of the lot. Even if fnatic succeeds, I feel like he's just a placeholder until Rekkles turns 17

( IMHO ) So SK's comp was at least semi-focused around twitch as a late game carry, so Taric/Urgot to shut it down made sense. On top of that, Cait mid let them push down mid tower and deny Anivia blue buffs, which she's very dependent on. Eve top also added a lot of pressure to blue, and having so many threats makes it hard for SK to save their squishy high damage carries. DLift played Urgot in Taric/Urgot too - I don't think it's a pick to cover up a weakness in all situations.

LCS is the biggest stage in League right now and every pro players want to be apart of it. This is his chance to showcase his skills against the best in EU for the world to see.

That being said saying "I played for a S3 team" is still gonna be pretty sweet for them when they go find a new team (Or at least they're guaranteed to be subs)

Respect for Yellowstar for he proberly knows it, yet he play's in my book not bad for a guy who knows this information and has played alot less with the rest of Fnatic as Rekkles did.

While I agree bashing might not be in order, since Rekkles has left Fnatic hasn't looked nearly as dominant as they did with him (IEM and even the LCS Qualifiers). He might not need to be replaced, but the differential in talent between Rekkles and Yellowstar is certainly noticeable.

I'm saying this based on the overall performance of all the AD carries during IEM Katowice And I clearly stated that it's not a new thing from me, you can probably look for my post in the Katowice thread, where I get bashed because I speak my mind about Yellowstar, and if at that times it wasn't legitimate, it's definitely going more and more in my way. Now if you could stop bashing on people without reading properly that'd be great. And then again it's not mindlessly bashing a player because he did bad in one game, but much rather a clear statement over the course of one event and a match; We'll see if he shines in the other games, but I'm ready to bet a lot that he isnt going to.

We seem to be about to get back underway. My tip would be to start with the youtube stream. Twitch should follow on... #LCS https://twitter.com/lolesports So hopefully really soon!

Also, Nunu really ruins the day for the Urgot/Taric lane - Iceball plus Bloodboil can prevent Taric from ever getting in stun range, and the counter-attack from Twitch is deadly, especially when bloodboiled. CLG had a way easier time vs. TSM - Urgot got the early blue buff, and while Ezreal may be more slippery, Ez/Lulu are far less deadly on the counterattack, especially against a Taric. They also had a more aggressive jungler (Lee Sin) and an enemy jungler with zero presence. It's also pretty funny that people point at the AD carry transition for fnatic's decline in performance. I think the S2-S3 transition hurt them more than other teams, even though Peke and sOAZ are very variable in their champ pools. sOAZ gets caught mis-estimating his champ way more frequently, and fnatic doesn't seem to like the health-stacking "meta" at all.

With EG time becomes a blur you stop noticing how long nothing has happened and whether anything is happening stream working or not.
