Wouldn't been any different, TSM never practices. Just compare their statements to the regular Korean statements after a loss. Koreans always say they will practice harder, TSM always says they will practice. All they do is selling themselves in streams. Good Guy Dyrus, General OddOne, etc., they are really good trademarks, but being funny in solo queue won't get them too far. Obviously they scrim sometimes, but TSM is regarded far the laziest team in NA. Also, Reginald still can't play and won't ever be useful again, but that's not a surprise for anyone. Dying with Kha'Zix with 2 long swords vs a Ryze with only tear? Like really? Typical Regi mentality that he tries to pick up the actual "OP" champions, but he's just bad. Gragas, TF, Diana, Kayle, Kha... he even failed with the IPL 5 facewrecker Diana. He was like 90 cs behind Link, while even HotShot crawled back to Dyrus in CS numbers. The funniest thing (maybe in tie with the 1000 ELO fail Kha'Zix jump) was when he flashed into Doublelift even though he was already in AA range. Like what the hell, did no one tell Regi Kayle is ranged when she activates her E? He did it twice, though one time he might flashed to Q him, I can't quite recall, but still, terrible. Regi has to step down (he won't) or at least play champions he is actually comfortable with (unlikely), and TSM has to finally live up to all their "WE WILL PRACTICE MORE GUYS" promises. So annoying seeing them acting on their streams (compare "streamOddOne" to "I'm in state of the league OddOne so I won't say a single word because I'm afraid, and if you mention Saint's name I will quit"), crushed in tournaments, then making excuses and promises. That's why I like Curse: if they suck they just plainly and simply say they suck. They are lazy as well, but the individual members are forcing each other to practice hard because they actually care and are annoyed that they perform bad. Maybe they do it in a Cursey Shore manner, but who cares, it's still more constructive. Fun Fact: they dropped TRM for not agreeing with the stricter practice regime. That guy could still outperform Regi any day (not that it's hard or something, just saying) on mid lane and could be much more useful. Yes, even with his AP/Hybrid Teemo (which Regi tried as well, but... oh well, of course he failed). Even as a TSM fanboy I am inclined to agree with you on almost everything you said. Although, I think their problems and laziness is not as harsh as you make it out to be - but that's probably because I am a TSM fanboy. I found myself happy with Regi's retirement. I think all their other roles are pretty solid. Someone said it here and I have heard it before - When Regi does well, TSM does well, when Regi does poorly, TSM does poorly. It's kinda true. Rarely do they win games where Regi isn't doing well. I really think if they got a new mid and let TheOddOne or Xspecial call the shots, they would improve a lot.
Would a new mid get them to practice more? I don't think TSM has enough motivation to scrim seriously -- they get huge stream numbers and just picked up two big sponsors. My prediction is they keep slacking until they feel they are in danger of getting knocked out the LCS before they shape up.

The oddone has great game sense, you can see that from his stream, i always think the jungler has the best idea and can call the shots the best

TSM's had two chances to go to Korea. They turned both of them down so that they could stay at home and stream. They used to drop out of online tournaments that refused to let them stream because the prize pool was small and they wanted to make more money streaming.
TSM has shown before that when they tryhard and practice seriously they can do really well in the NA scene. But both CLG and Dignitas (and maybe even Curse) have had more success than them on the international stage. If all they care about is making the most money then their current strategy is probably the best one. But if they care about being good and being relevant in the international scene they need to get back into the shape they were in when they had that Jonas guy coaching them.

Not if they drop out of the LCS. I love the fact a team has to perform well to stay in the league.

I think we are being a little too extreme, if you remember, they crushed Vulcan and are still the favorite over a lot of stronger teams. However, they should be able to do better, and I have been saying for awhile that Regi just hasn't made a smart pick in awhile I feel like the only way I would accept a new mid is if Regi retired though, because I just can't imagine TSM actively kicking someone off of the team

I'm pretty sure TSM could not scrim at all and they wouldn't drop out of LCS anytime in Season 3.

well they might be the 4th team NA now behind CLG, Curse and GGU.
Quite sad but deserved. Those guys have no real chemistry imo

If anyone should be the shotcaller on TSM, it should be Xpecial. JBright, back me up here.
Realistically, I don't think TSM will fall enough to end up in the bottom 2 of the standings by midseason. But they falling into the bottom half of the bracket is a possibility. That said, which teams of the "new guard" do you think has the potential to break into the Top 4? :O :O

#scarraplz
I'm still under the impression that dig doesn't have a shotcaller.

Judging only the games yesterday, I'd say GGU looks way better than TSM atm, well at least it seemed like they have a gameplan. they were in a decent position until that one fight where nintendude and MashMe got caught.
Well TSM apparently got a gameplan too, but the "assemble fotm OP champs" doesn't seem that succesful ^^

TSM or not, I will delight myself with CLG's fans tears everytime they lose, because they will. Don't go ahead of yourself, it's just starting, there is plenty of time for TSM to come back on top, and most of the youngest teams - such as Vulcun - will eventually get to a level where they will be a challenge.
It's time to rumble !
+ Show Spoiler +No harm intended, I love you all, but man it's a sport, let's play the game to its fullest.

WhiteDog, who are you cheering for? NA and EU plz. I need to know when to taunt you when they lose. <3
|
I can't manage to guess if team Marn is liked or mocked here. @_@ Maybe a bit of both but they don't seem to polarize opinions either. All in all both NA and EU seem to have almost more teams that I'd cheer for than teams I don't like/don't care about. Hard.

well Team MRN sports two active TL posters so we have to root for them

MRN is well received here imo. Go ecco! Go heartbeat!

Dontmashme has one good game where he looks good where there are 100 other games that shows him being distinctly average and now GGU is better than TSM? I mean I'm down on TSM, but there are such a clear top 4 and bottom 4 that I would be stunned if there is any crossover, at least until summer season.
In terms of skill atm (imo) its Crs/CLG>>> Dig>TSM>>>GGU>Vulcan>>>CoL>MRN
|
Yeah I mean I dunno if when people call Marn a mascot and stuff it's to make fun of them or affectionate teasing toward a team they root for.
