just out of random curosity, what happens to the teams who don't qualify. Are they out of the circuit, meaning they can't qualify for events like ipl and such. or are events like ipl and such seperate?

What I expect to come out of EU:
Alternate, aAa, Fureur, BLACK, Anexis, Mousesports, Millenium, DragonBorns
Only a few of the qualifying match-ups look like they might be close - Alternate vs AL, Anexis vs iQuit, DragonBorns vs LLL and Team BLACK's bracket with GamingGear and eEriness.

I wouldn't give eEriness too much credit, we were all baddies lol. Unless the jungler replacement really helped them that much I don't see them getting anywhere.

Edit: Then again Heat 2+3 are later in the day so there is hope....

Currently Anexis (Celaver, overpow, arquel & co) vs "Risc", a team that i'm pretty sure is like a 1800 level EUNE team... At least I remember playing with some of them a few months back when I managed to get up to 1800 in glorious EUNE soloQ.
Needless to say, it ain't pretty.

that's only 2.8 million dollars. Season 2 had around 5 million and lasted only a few tournaments. Having a competitive league is a much better investment i would think.

Also, 175k to the team to split among players is 35,000$ salary for a year. Which isnt terrible considering many players generate stream revenue, and other players also get salary from their teams.
