Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.

Fair warning to all.

they swapped lanes to counter jungle skarners red (they warded it during the l1 invade)

so azubu just did the same thing back and took red from mao. noticeably azubu did this to clg other times: top turret taken by clg, azubu takes bot in response. clg steals blue, singed steals blue.

The dislike is mostly a government thing. I think most Chinese would support TPA as long as they weren't playing iG/WE.

It is similiar to fans of US teams cheering for M5 and CLG.eu once TSM and CLG.na were out.

Except the commentary team for TPA vs. M5 was the Garena Taiwan commentators, lol. If it was Vincent Lee, it makes a lot of sense because he is very close with the TPA team.

That said, the Chinese commentators have been referring to TPA as a "Chinese" team (e.g. saying 3 Chinese teams in top 8).

they tried to throw earlier, but clg eu just recalled to base and went back to turtle.

Not EU because they're pretty good. Agree with you about NA though

EU only has two strong teams and the rest do not show any particular potential. If you're talking about M5 and CLG.eu hanging around the top teams of the world, I'd agree with you but not the rest of EU.

Maybe they will win with a cheese here or there or a game where they catch Frost slacking, but I can't see TPA doing better than a close but clear 1:3 loss.

zzz, CLGeu goes 1-2 and 2-3 against Frost both times they've played them. Suggesting they're pretty even. CLGeu loses to M5 all but once. TPA convincingly beats M5 the first time they've ever played.

Not saying that means TPA is favored in the finals or anything but Frost vs TPA should be really close. TPA has done something Frost hasn't, beaten the team that the vast majority of LoL fans considered the unstoppable best team in the world.

If you look at TPA's record against Korean opposition, I'd say their chances are grim. However, I thought their chances were pretty grim vs M5 and they managed to win. Still, the TPA vs M5 series were extremely close, while the Frost vs CLG.eu was a stomp despite Frost losing game 1. I'll be happy to be proved wrong though.

Chinese fans definitely support TPA. Chinese people consider Taiwan to be part of China anyway, and even if they didn't, they'd still see TPA as their brothers. The connection between China and Taiwan is much closer than USA/Canada or Australia/NZ and transcends politics.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not trying to start any China-Taiwan hate and I think it's awesome Chinese fans support TPA from both sides of the Taiwan strait. It just bothers me immensely when people say shit and they don't understand the full facts.
