Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.
Fair warning to all. |

They warded the purple red, they needed 3 top

They 3-man ganked Skarner at red. TBH that was a pretty good opening, which played into pushing down top outer fast, but Frost dragged that long enough to be able to take bot outer at about the same time. Then Riven went top and got owned by Singed. (edit - counter-ganking should be counter-jungling)

M5 totally fuck up their picks (esp. jungle), proceed to get killed so slowly you can hear yourself drowse. I wouldn't say they fucked up their picks at all. M5 has had amazing success with their Zilean+Yorick comp and DiamondproX is known for his Udyr. In fact, I'd bet that TPA picked Udyr in Game 1 mostly to deny Diamond that pick. The biggest problem was that TPA got a really solid early lead with Taric+Vayne in game 2, which meant Kog had to play catch-up effectively neutering the M5 revive strat. Then in game 3, M5 gave up Ez+Sona which again fucked up the M5 bot lane. In both games Stanley's Nidalee also played extremely well against Yorick with Chalice rush so he can out-sustain and out-harass Yorick.

their problem was that singed doesnt care if he has a tower or not. You chase him, you die.

I dunno, killing Skarner for FB was good and all, but I feel like they threw away the advantage they would have had in both lanes. Skarner also ended up taking CLG's red so it didn't even matter all that much.

I think this is good for League. We'll see if the fans will watch for the most high level play (two Asian teams) or if they'll only watch if one of their fan favorites are playing.
|
Shyvana with a mostly cc-less team comp and a Kog AD carry was a major fuck-up, I'd say. It made their team rely on being able to initiate and not have to kite or counter-initiate, ruling out the possibility of falling behind TPA. Which did happen, and all of Shyv's ults in teamfights seemed more like desperation stalling than counter-initiation to me.
In the first game, Udyr was... well, let's just say he didn't have the easiest lanes to gank, and he failed to counterjungle/starve Maokai and make his presence felt. Udyr struggles against Orianna because her W is very strong at restraining the zone he can influence during fights.

Riven only beats Singed if she rapes him early game (~1-3).

KOREA PRIDEEEEEEEE I CANNOT HIDE MY JOY!!!
(sorry I like CLG.eu though)

I feel like CLG.eu's playstyle is completely outdated. Froggen, especially, has no presence in other lanes. His deadset farming style drags CLG.eu down as much as yellowpete's underwhelming play.
|
well at least we have 2 european teams in the top 4. ^.^

glad frost won since I'm anti CLG.EU playstyle and also to spite TSM fanboys

I enjoyed frost winning. Hopefully now the NA and EU scenes perish, leaving only glorious asia to compete. That's what we all want by rooting on these asian teams right? The death of pro league in NA and EU.

cloudtemplar flash ulting THE MOMENT the shield faded was so sick, game winning move

I think froggen needs to go back to playing aggressive roaming mids like Ahri/Diana whenever clg runs skarner. They're both capable of pulling out some impressive farm numbers and also have good map presence. Froggen's Orianna play while good, didn't match up too well with skarner, especially since so much of orianna's burst/utility comes from her ultimate while skarner aims to pull someone away from his team.
