He changes his mind often, but he has announced before that there is a possibility that he retires after season two to focus more on the business aspect of TSM.

I'm not sure how many top teams have AP carries that are so worse than Salce to warrant picking him up, to be honest. He generally does decent (not amazing) in lane, and after that I don't see much out of him (though that could just be because of EVO's lack of chemistry). I think wingsofdeath is the most likely player on EVO to get picked up by a higher tier team. Nhat is one of my favorite people in the league scene, but his play hasn't been spectacular recently. Just watching him stream soloqueue, he seems to lack a lot of mechanics (missing many shields, lacking map awareness) that a top tier support needs. Neither him nor DontMashMe seem to be able to make great calls bot lane, and both of their positioning in team fights seem to be lacking. I still have hope for Nhat to be a top-level support as he has seems to have a decent attitude and work ethic, but he hasn't been showing much lately.
I'm excited to see DIG vs TD today and will be rooting for DIG. The mechanics of most of the players (especially QTpie) seems to have improved since Korea, and patoy seems to fit well botlane. For quite a while, though, there calls just don't seem to be there. I used to not like IWDominate much, but his work on tanky support jungle (ali and skarner mainly) has been superb minus one or two over aggressive mistakes at MLG. Crumbzz is the player that keeps disappointing me over and over. I was a huge fan of him in the jungle and thought he would quickly become great at top lane, but it hasn't been the case so far. I've seen him with troll picks a lot in soloqueue and in internet leagues, and it annoys me a bit because I haven't seen a reason yet for him to have such confidence in his normal play to call for that. In standard games he seems to constantly overextend, misplay trades, and just now show great understanding of his matchups. His jax is awesome, but I haven't seen him be able to do as well with any other champions. When Voyboy was switched for Crumbzz, it was said that a benefit of this would be that crumbzz would be more consistant whereas voyboy either dominated a lane or completely bombed. It seems to me that Crumbzz's play so far is identical to old voyboy on dig except with slightly less domination. I really, really want to see Crumbzz prove himself as a strong top laner this weekend with just strong standard play (even though I won't mind to see 1 or 2 cheese strats from dig as well).
DIG and EVO have been the two teams that I've been following for the longest time in this scene, and I've felt let down by both of them for the last month or so. I hope that the players on both teams will begin to take this more seriously and improve. I'm still, perhaps naively, hopeful for the future of the players on both teams.

Would be interesting to see who would replace him. As much as Regi fucks up, he's a great play maker and the dynamic between him and TOO is obviously there and prevalent.

I think that's highly subjective because of what Reginald does for his team in the grand scheme of a game. Yes you want a strong AP mid, but I think they'll try and find someone that meshes well with the team more than just someone who's a great mid. I mean everyone currently questions Reginald's individual plays now, but they've won so many events because of such good team cohesion

I don't know,I really don't see any better replacement than Salce.NA really lacks on AP mid talent nowadays compared to EU imo.Say what you want but Salce is a good solid player, regi has his moments but I wouldn't say he is a dominant force.TSM got better because regi stopped treating Oddone as his ward bitch and they actually started following a game plan.Back when they streamed their scrims it was painful to watch/listen how regi constantly bugged oddone with stupid calls.Oddone would be literally on the other side of the map and regi would force him to come to his lane to wait in the bush on the off chance that he get's ganked just because he doesn't want to let loose on playing unnecessarily aggressive, not to mention he wouldn't buy wards and just rely on oddone to carry around 3 wards at a time to ward for him.

The thing with Regi is, because of his hyper aggressive playstyle, he has those games where he goes 8-0 in 25 min, carries hard and looks amazing then he has those games where hes 0-5 after 15 min and looks absolutely terrible.

I find it pretty rephrensible that Salce puts out a video like that when he's pretty much the main reason Epik/EVO have never been a top tier team. Dyrus and Aphro both abandoned ship because Salce isn't dedicated enough to actually practice, leading to the team having poor play after laning phase ends, then he blames everyone?
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Salce's individual play and his AP picks and he's really talented, but maybe he should actually take the game seriously before he tries to get everyone replaced.

Salce is and has been one of NA's top AP players. He hasn't looked good as of late but I'll notch that off due to lack of practice. There's a lot of hearsay about Regi quitting after S2 but if I had to put monies on it, I'd say he stays. He still enjoys LoL a lot, so why quit? Worse comes to worse, he can literally hire someone to manage TSM for him.
Issue here for TSM.evo is practice. I know Salce and Wings play a ton, and that's just by themselves, so it's a question of who on the team is holding them back. I heard Unstoppable is busy a lot because he works IRL? :O

The guy was in his last year of highschool during the EG times. They always said that EG can't be anything serious because of the RL commitments of individuals. Now that he's graduated tho,I guess he will be dedicating more time as he said to the game.

Guys guys guys, it's fine, I see what needs to happen. I'll jump on the grenade and take regi's place on TSM.

But that's the beauty of TSM's playstyle of the revolving carries. In a team based game its not a sum of the parts, each part should amplify the others to be more than just the sum.

Unstoppable has always been busy with work. Tree played top for us for IEM NYC Quali since Unstop had work. Is that the reason evo is being held back? Lack of scrimming? Probably, but in no way is Unstoppable a bad jungler which some people think.

Well no one ever said they are bad individually. It's just their teamfight and cohesion that is shit.

I heard Unstoppable is busy a lot because he works IRL? :O Unstoppable is a full-time accountant. The reason Aphromoo left is because they hardly ever practiced and when they did it wasn't productive. Wings has a tendency to not drop things and continue harping on one bad play all game long.(a la Hotshot) Most of the time this was targeted at Unstoppable, who obviously doesn't have the time to both scrim and put in enough solo-queue practice to build synergy with his laners. Salce(who's generally silent in-game) would then always ditch the Skype call after games if Wings and Unstoppable were arguing. Nhat and Aphro would try to get the three of them to actually communicate properly, but to no avail.
The Regi leaving TSM rumor is based on him outright saying it once on stream, but that(iirc) was before Dan got kicked/left Epik and stopped playing competitive LoL. I would imagine that Dan and others are alleviating some of the pressure Regi was feeling earlier in the year.

after watching the extended interview with scarra from travis and the discussion about evo here I just realized how "WingsofdeathX" is such a typical kiddie mmo like X Lord Slayer X, I Lady of elementz I, xD
I hope Regi doesnt quit but If he does I hope Xpecial gets the chance to play mid and they find a support, although that wouldnt be the best solution prolly since the chaox+xpecial synergy = imba. Hopefully chaox brings his gunnar carry glasses on saturday.
so excited to see clg.na tonight btw

I think people are overstating Regi's inconsistency. He's been playing a lot smarter and consistently the past few months compared to when he was in his bad slump. He still screws up sometimes but everyone does. As he is right now, he's pretty solid and TSM as a whole mesh really well right now. If Regi leaves TSM it would be over purely non-game related reasons, because if we go by how he plays there's no reason to ponder about replacing Regi with someone else.
