There are a million things you can do to keep a spirit of competition despite the result not mattering. Instead these guys have chosen to just fuck over Sundance and the rest of MLG. EDIT: ok if they only do one game rather than the whole series then MAYBE they can be let off....

What I don't think you understand is that they don't like splitting BECAUSE it makes the tournament into a joke with troll games. It doesn't matter if they're splitting or not, they're making the tournament into a joke right now. Like some1 else mentioned, in magic they split but play seriously for a small difference and that's accepted because it doesn't turn the tournament into a joke.

I will leave if the second game is still ARAM. same for me, i'm thoroughly enjoying this aram game, but I don't think i want to see a second one. The crowd also seems to be enjoying it as well, so I'm quite ok with this. edit: i think it's the equivalent of pro teams sending out second/third string players for games that are either basically done or are more/less meaningless.

The only thing they play for is money, and if you remove that there's not much left :/ MLG doesn't really have any prestige unfortunately.

Like play for 1/10th of the money and split the rest, or even split the money and just play for a trophy. You NEVER turn the pro scene into a joke like this. That's kind of my surprise. If they want to fuck around and not reveal strats, just say like: "let's play the most standard game as possible. No lane swap, play standard champs we all know, and play normal lane assignments." The games might still be decent and it's not like they'd be giving up anything.

In reality though it doesn't make sense for Curse or Dig to pull out their best stuff with championships and those huge prizepools looming in the near future for what is a very minor tournament. Hence why TSM straight up skipped this tourney.

FBH dancing like a madman after a win is a celebration of hard fought victory. This is dicking around (and possibly splitting) on the finals of a major tournament. Just sayan'

I dont get it. no proving grounds mana refresh buff. but for real, I'm suprised people are defending this, aside from the fact that aram is super boring, it's pretty silly. I'm not trying to say they should be banned for life or anything dumb like that but I just feel like it's pretty uncool of them to come to the event if they aren't willing to play out the finals, they actually make Reginald look mature for pulling his team.l

I blame Marcou for that stupid circuit point thing.
