More like Vayne (most of CLG's damage) walking straight into Nasus and Tristana causes them to lose the fight. You can't trade Vayne for Taric.

Wow, did not see this coming. Sypher played REALLY well for their first offline event. I kinda always thought they were a tier B team, but apparently they're better than that.

Now, though, for the main attraction: the two best teams from Europe facing off against each other.

Sypher was never behind imo

They were down in gold by only 5k, and Nasus has invisible gold value from that fucking Q. They also had invisible gold value from the aura items they bought. CLG didn't buy any rofl.

Tristana scales better into lategame than Vayne since Vayne went for a midgame build (black cleaver)

Karthus ult kills everyone and zilean can only save one np.

GP didn't have triforce.

His tankiness was completely futile because of Wall of Pain + Starks + Nasus.

and Taric bought starks, while Janna didn't have anything to help her team.

Also, no damage from CLG. Vayne doesn't do enough especially since it doesn't even matter if she kills karthus.

CLG really needed to end the game early. Trist/Karthus/Nasus late-game too strong. Zilean's late-game is only really as good as who you can revive, and CLG didn't have Kog or Jax this game to make an absurd revive target.

CLG plays a sandpaper game where they like to wear people down so Sypher with the lategame team just had to stall them out. CLG don't quite have the sledgehammer effect that other teams sometimes show where they crush the midgame like Fnatic's double assassin.
