gg WE, well deserved!
wat. They lost one bo3 because of stupid decisions. Doesn't mean their style doesn't work. Infact, I think WE's style get's weaker the more you play them.

gg... Hotshot threw that game away, just feeding vayne so hard. They should have realized after his second death that he just could not handle bot lane against vayne taric alone. And the moment of greed that made him stop recalling near top, god what was he thinking?! Plus wasting his ult every time he was about to die.

AEON is a really great team though, for those saying how they owned WE up. They're probably one of the first Dota organizations to switch over to LoL, and I think they may even have some ex-Dota players in their line-up. Lots of experience in that team, so not surprised they won WE.
But yeah, gg wp WE. Showing that, no, CLG didn't throw their losses on purpose to "hype up the tournament." Or at least, if they did, they're kicking themselves now.

I want to see a WE vs Dignatas best of 5!!!
Imagine some of the champion line ups we could see then!?

The flaw in their strat is that Vayne+Taric will 2v1 any champion in the game when Vayne has flash up, and Ez doesn't snowball nearly as much as Vayne. Denying Singed farm has no bearing when you have to feed Vayne in the process. (Even letting Vayne free farm is a loss.)
It's Chauster's fault for apparently forgetting that you shouldn't stand next to walls against Vayne in game 2; I wonder if CLG thought he can't handle Vayne/Taric. I'm 100% sure WE would have ran Vayne/Alistar if CLG took Taric so they will have the support stun + Vayne flash/condemn.

Fuck. Dude.
I'm going to bed before I have to read more posts like this. LoL community is the most ADD community of any esport.

Great decision canceling that recall. Won them the game..
/sarcasm off

why are the casters making such a big deal out of this?
WE is not a bunch of guys playing for lolz but a professional esports organisation. Looking at how most western teams spend most of their time (streaming solo-q), it was just a question of time until a team with a more professional approach is going to rise to the top.
it's not like we haven't seen this in every non-fps esport game ever...

I had more fun watching LoL this week than SC2. Me too! The Chinese style of aggressive ganking and teamfighting is pretty exciting to watch IMO. That's not to say that SK and CLG are boring to watch, but I really think that this tournament is going to drive the LoL meta forward (into less passive play) and also extend LoL's credibility as an esport as well as it gets more widespread recognition.

Their Vayne was really decisive always using flash for condemn stun. Most ppl are too scared to burn the flash for the stun.

Since the ESL vote closed before the start of the finals, I just want to see if anyone would change their vote.

Finals MVP definitely goes to Wx. Flawless play on Vayne those last couple of games.

Jokes aside, I think it's simply more difficult to declare that one team is better at taking advantage of enemy mistakes, than saying the other team suxxors, which is why all the focus on CLG (that and they are more e-famous, ofc)

I picked Wx, but Misaya was really strong too. Saintvicious was fantastic too, and almost carried CLG through the entire tournament but his team couldn't capitalise on his great Lee Sin and Warwick initiation in the finals.

Misaya for sure, that Orianna control, pretty much indicates his a sick nerd baller.

Most times lanes aren't 2v1. In most cases using it defensively is the best decision, but he's not exactly worried about a Galio while he has taric alongside, even if Saint comes to help. He can play as aggressively as he wants, knowing his death is unlikely unless he really stops paying attention or they lose ward coverage.

I think overall as a whole CLG was a disappointment this series. Kinda feels like when NA went to Dreamhack and got wrecked.
The players say there isn't a mechanical skill difference but I feel like there clearly is one. Look at how Chauster and Jiji getting outfarmed by their enemy counterparts basically every single game.
