It just makes sense. Lock on is nothing but a buff on the cylone that lets it attack at double attack speed (and do the kite-thingy). Since it upgrades with +2 (18base damage) we have +3weapons == +6 per shot == +33% damage == 540-->720damage over 14seconds. | ||

Timewarp is buffed and nerfed at the same time but new one is pretty useless in these situations. AoE is a lot bigger, but it now has build up time, it doesn't take the effect instantly and enemy units can just walk away. | ||

I personally still haven't been able to land an actually useful timewarp in beta yet; it's more of a zoning tool than something that you use once the fight has started. | ||
