I'm still trying to process the letter and determine if whether that was seriously written by the lawyer in question, not exactly seriously written by him, or faked by Rich. I kind of have the idea of emailing the law firm and asking about it, but I'm not quite sure on how bad an idea that is. Also, players clearly need agents for the legal knowledge. Please, more money into the game so that the cut for agents are large enough to make it a viable career.

If the contract has already been signed then what do they want Svenskeren to sign? I rather think this still refers to the agreement via Skype to sign which H2k regard as legally binding.

H2K's is a non-conditional starter spot with more pay. -Sven decides to verbally agree to sign with H2K since it's objectively a safer, better deal. -TSM then hears of this, panics, then decides to revise their offer to a non conditional starter spot. -Sven is enticed, tells H2K he isn't sure anymore. -H2K's turn to panic, and they up their offer with even more money. -Sven is still confused about what he wants. -H2K frustrated with his flipflopping, this time strongarms Sven -Plan backfires, Sven has an averse reaction and leans towards TSM -H2K upset because A) Sven verbally agreed B) TSM just offers the bare minimum to win over Sven due to their big brand power. -Somewhere along the line this is aired out. -TSM/Regi upset because A) They are sure they did nothing legally wrong but H2K is calling them out on it B) Feels H2K is forcing their way to getting Sven I can see both sides here. Kinda sucks for H2K since if TSM gets involved like this, there's hardly any way for H2K to win barring them forking waaay more money. H2K showed more interest early on, offered more money, and is located in Europe. But then TSM can just adjust their offer to the bare minimum and lure Sven away at their whim. TSM brand+streaming money too hard to resist. Also Sven was being very immature with the way he was handling business. Frustrating stuff. Also sucks for TSM cause H2K is going batshit threatening to sue them and such when they didn't break any 'rules'. I mean it's a bit of a dick move to constantly update your offer as soon as Sven says he's leaning the other way, but that's common business. The one H2K should be blaming is not TSM, but Sven and how the state of free agent negotiations in LoL is (no professional sports agents to represent these players and instead you deal with immature teens directly). Also sucks for Sven because he's young, he's stupid, and he doesn't exactly know what's good for him. But at the same time, it feels threatening when H2K Rich is treating him like some product instead of a person and flat out treats him as if he's a child who can't make decisions for himself (which may be true, but you don't want to treat your prospective employee like that and alienate him). All 3 have valid reasons for being upset and have done some things that can upset other parties, but pretty sure H2K made the biggest fuck up by basically lashing out at all parties. If they really felt they were wronged, they should have gotten legal counseling and/or gone to Riot BEFORE ruining their relationship with Sven. Even if Sven joins their team, he's not going to be a very motivated employee. Well said. Sums it up nicely and gives a neutral view I can't help but have this image in my head of two young lovers cuddling on a grassy hill. The girl finally said yes to the guys proposal for marriage and now they celebrate it by watching the sunset. Then suddenly the girls friend appears out of no where. He tells her "you're not right for him, come with me". She doesn't believe him telling her fiance she prefers him. The friend can't accept this. He pulls down his pants and whips out his massive cock. The girl stares in amazement then says "??? srry bby I go". At least that's how I think it went down.

Except DeAndre's 27 while Sven's 19, so Sven can be excused as still a kid while DeAndre is regarded as a manchild. It's also missing some shenanigans of representatives from both teams rushing over to the player's residence as fast as they can, with one team successfully barring themselves in and playing cards all night. It was surreal, especially with the media constantly updating the situation. Even comes complete with Chris 'MULTIPLE SOURCES' Broussard making another screwup. And there wasn't a team planning to sell on the assumption of having a signed roster. Clearly, this situation needs Jacob Wolf playing the part of Broussard to report some update, have it be vehemently denied by either Regi or Rich, and then afterwards apologize. Yes I know the kid is good but THAT good ? I don't think so. Also he's known for his attitude issues. Putting that kind of money and legal effort into him seems insane considering he's still counted as an import for TSM. Meanwhile on the other side of the world it seems KR still has a ton of unknown players that are easily lcs caliber without even having a professional environment around them. Watch the kespa cup ! Just from talking to some managers and what not, I got the impression that a lot of Koreans are actually less willing to go abroad than they were a year ago. Orgs are making offers (see GBM situation) but many aren't interested.

If you dont have the money you dont have the money. People in the know keep saying how incredibly higher salaries are in NA compared to EU, especially in the coming season. So no surprise here. But it is rather sad for EU. It is kinda a China / Korea situation only that Europe does not have the pool to make up for the losses like Korea.

Now if Taiwan got poached they'd be fucked; mostly because Garena banned all the bloody talent.

I guess it can be changed, but in most cases it will not. Someone like Amin will never be a top player.
