How do you even play Garen versus those annoying ranged match ups? I take it that it has something to do with intelligent use of your Q as well as just running towards them at appropriate times? I also imagine Boots of Swiftness being a factor as well. Wait wtf Garen dumps on Riven you just build armor and she rolls over and dies in lane because Q silence owns her really hard and she can't interrupt your E Getting to the point where the armor stack is good enough is the hard part though. I might also have gotten severely outplayed.

K goodbye again It's been played other times already, not sure in which match-ups, though. You're a bit late.

It is known.

Riven does roll over to armour and she can't interrupt your E, but she can just E in response. You can then Q for the MS boost to catch up to her but that makes her next W incredibly easy. Overall, you will have dealt a little damage through her E and she'll have dealt a little with her W.. but she still has Q.
With your W, you can fight her, but your W has a long cd. It really is not a good matchup.
edit: You don't want Tabi against Riven from my experience. Mercs and even swifties are better. The whole problem with the character is that you can't put damage on her effectively, which Tabi does nothing to help with.

why would anyone play support kennen. What does he have better say than zyra or something? how does his stun work can you actually stun entire team with your ult?
Not as squishy, has escape, has stun, yes you can stun the entire team and with a kalista you can engage without flash. Sounds pretty strong on paper.
I think the main point is that Kennen is incredible mobile for a support with his AoE cc. That's exactly the problem of Zyra, she is very squishy while being pretty much the slowest support in the game.
The only thing I don't like about kennen is he feels like just a jack of all trades.Watched a few lpl/lck games of him and the tsm vs c9 it never felt like he did something other picks couldn't have done.
He has a very strong midgame timing and the potential to completely turn a fight, few tops/supps can say the same.
Most supports can do at least as good. Also you have to ban janna if you want to play kennen or he is just completely useless.
What does he have to do with annie? She immobile and her only strong point is instant hard engage which kennen doesn't have.
Except all of those things play out in a completely different way which has nothing to do with what annie does.

Kennen doesn't do much during his defensive steroid, same can't be said for Annie (it also doesn't burn half her ressource pool and doesn't have that long a cooldown), Kennen's aa range was nerfed to 550 (eg. standard) awhile back, and he doesn't have instant hard cc for his initiation.
Charges can't be compared because Annie can hold onto hers and use them on whoever she wants, Kennen has to build them up in a short timeframe on a specific target. Annie also has way better base damage.
If I really wanted to compare Kennen to another support I'd go for Braum (counter-initiation/peeling, possible to engage but much weaker, short range assist for his partner) or Fiddlesticks (poke, AoE damage as a follow-up or possibly initiation if farmed enough, usually better for the surprise factor or if kept for follow-up, decent short-range peeling), and even then Fiddle's fear is instant and Braum has Unbreakable so they have major differences.

Man, Zyra, now thats a champ that Riot has just left in the trash heap. And she isn't even fundamentally flawed like Poppy and Shaco.
