And when talking about late game, Irelia stopped 100-0ing squishies awhile ago, and Aatrox has more than just BotRK. Of course you don't go 3 damage items then try and burst people 1v5, you get your BotRK then full tank.

I DUMPED wukong in lane. Went 5/2 or something. Took two towers. Had most CS, most kills, showed up in teamfights hit EQR botrked autoed a couple times and then just died. Meanqhile the 1/6 wukong jumped into the team with ult and destroyed. I dunno. I felt soooo strong in lane and then came teamfights and it was like my advantage meant nothing. Obviously I could have done a lot of things better, but Ionno. I almost felt like not being with my team and just taking towers would have been better, but then why not Tryndamere? It almost felt like the 1 damage item into tank didn't feel right. I wasn't tanky enough AND I didn't do enough damage. I saw an aatrox once go hydra and botrk into tank and while he was still squishy, the damage and lifesteal let him stay alive longer. I might try him again, but I dunno how I would build him. Maybe straight cdr tank? His knockup at max cdr is 7 sec cd which isn't bad. But it is actually pretty small as to where the knockup is. It's also super easy to stop it with a flay or other similar knockback/displacement abilities. I like playing Aatrox though. I just am REALLY bad at using the advantage I get from him. And it feels like you have to push that advantage soooo much harder than other champs. Any Aatrox advice would be awesome though. Was considering jungling him as well. tidE: I think I could have roamed mid a lot more actually. I was killing wukong everytime he came top lane or at least shoving it to tower and making him back. I could have def roamed mid and gotten them fed. But yeah, lvl 3 all in with Aatrox is almost always a kill. Don't even need ignite.

Hopefully I won't ragequit him this time so I can tell you guys how to play him and why he is the best champion ingame. (Also 739 already took the icon QQ) Please let me know what you do and have success with. I really enjoy playing him and seeing as I only play Diana, could really use for another champion in my pool.

You don't make use of the BotRK attack speed well due to the fact that you have AS on your passive and Ult. The normal lifesteal on Hydra is much larger than BotRK because of a) 20% more raw amount, b) more of the damage is in the auto attack portion c) AoE. You have a slow and a knockup already, so you don't gain as much chasing from the BotRK active. You actually have decent AD ratio's so you gain comparatively more damage from the hydra.

Aight, I will give that a shot then. I have heard mixed opinions on both. I do feel like Hydra always went better for me though. Been a minute since I did Hydra Aatrox though. But that's next on my agenda now!

He was nerfed because those two things used to make him almost impossible to shut down in lane, and he used to be abusively strong when ahead (like Irelia). The current patch has given me a renewed faith in Riot's ability to balance the game, but IMO one of the reasons for that is they have shoved out manaless bruisers, who are very oppressive by design. Ranged farming means jack shit, the issue in lane was his huge sustain that made him very hard to kill even with ignite and impossible to deal with without kill pressure (like Vlad, 'cept Vlad is way worse because ranged). Hydra is better for teamfights because it heals more than BotRK, which in turn is better for splitpushing and stuff. Edit: Irelia stop 100-0ing people when they get enough levels (since she doesn't scale that much damage-wise once she has Trinity and level 11) and HP, eg. levels, defensive items, allies ranking up shield abilities or buying AP, or having heals, etc. Irelia's damage isn't that great without W, so if she can't kill you in these 6 seconds she'll have trouble finishing you off, and as the game goes on it's easier and easier to survive said 6 seconds. I didn't say Aatrox dealt more damage late game, but that he could get tankier than Irelia with their typical builds, and he had more impact, especially against a team with peeling.

I'd much rather have somebody else TP in with a real ult than Shen ult in. I guess the upside to the buff is being able to ult to fights twice as often as people can TP?

Just give him teleport too and watch the rotatos.

It'd be cool if they gave the person he teleported to a MS bonus. The biggest problem with Shen ult, that I experience, is ulting in a little too late. They always ult when their target is already safe or too far away to reengage. It'd be great if it gave the person Shen ulted to the MS boost and absolutely force the enemy to deal with this Shen ult. Reducing the ult cd on this isn't the have all end all. Thank god they reverted Mundo ult cd and the Nidalee heal cd. I totally agree with Nidalee's hp stats getting nerfed, but the heal cd is just a stupid overkill change. Evelynn... why did they revert your passive ms boost. WHY!!!!
