I legit feel uncomfortable about posting this but I guess it should be discussed, someone hacked dentist's twitter and posted a shit ton of chat logs between him and CW's owner about the players they wanted and deficio as a manager. Deficio was reaching out to the players and the ones they had in mind were svenskeren and rekkles both of whom were apparently on board with it.
Interesting quote from the leaked images though "If we lose Freeze and don't pick up rekkles or forg1ven we are playing for auto-relegation 100%"
Also Copenhagen Wolves with attitudes were priced for 25k
"Soren out for another soren would be huge" holy fuck these ambitions, CW intended to create a fucking hyper team. Riot also listed cabochard and zorozero amongst the players they approached.
Seems that the roster CW had planned was zorozero/svenskeren/bjergsen/rekkles/hylissang managed by deficio and coached by dentist. Failing that zoro/sven/soren/freeze/hylissang; according to the chatlogs sven and zoro were more or less a done deal while hylissang was nearly done.

lmfao how delusional do you have to be to think that Bjergsen would leave TSM for Copenhagan Wolves.
Always got the impression that Dentist was a weirdo.

If there was one team in the west that you wouldn't leave, it's TSM.
But the whole situation kind of sucks for CW, they really looked like they tried to build a legit super team and instead got screwed over because of the poor way free agency works in lcs. This might rate highly in a "what could have been" scenario for League in the future.

I don't know, for some reason this reeks of childish ambition. Even if they got all of those players that they wanted, just from reading these logs I wouldn't predict anything but failure from such a management.

meh, sounds like a normal convo between co owner dreaming about their bright future usually you do these drunk and in person but this works too it's sad that this is a private matter and has no real weight since they're just jerking each other dreaming about how great their team is going to be but knowing the lol community ppl are going to get mad and everything will go to shit

How to make sure to never be hired again in the scene 101 by karl dentist krey!

As awesome as that sounds, super teams just have a tendency to just fall apart.

Deficio did confirm his part in the situation and how it led to his suspension so there's some truth to the leaks. How much is hard to say but I wouldn't say it's a normal drunken convo.

Relax. You never dreamed big when talking to friends? I think alot of people would look like idiots if all their private logs were made public.
Isn't the stuff with Azubu punishable by law? That's basically fraud/scamming.
This actually isn't as bad as it is phrased in the log. In fact, what happens is that a sponsor says to an organization "we give you xxx money" and the organization can fund their salaries to the players based on those money while taking a cut of the money them selves. This happens all the time and the only difference here is that CW for some reason wanted to lie about it (unncesarily in my opinion).
But the important thing to keep in mind is that they are not actually offering the players more than they do not intend to pay out, but it is indeed immoral that they want to lie about it. And in fact it's just 100% unnecasary.
All they had to do was pay each player a similar amount of streaming on Azubu while taking a cut to the organization and using some of those money to pay for Freeze's salary. The implications here would be the same but they never had to lie about anything.
From my understanding its not as if they are earning a huge amount of money from the deal and scamming the players who deserved those money. Instead it seem as if they simply have trouble making it apparent to the players that the organization needs to generate income as well.

I would fanboy those teams so fucking hard holy shit.

And even if I did, I don't think I would look like a scumbag like Dentist did.
This is about their dreams for the organization (we wanna be top 3 team, then maybe we can get bjergsen). Nothing wrong with those dreams as they are part of what motivates you.
it was clear that their intention was selfish/malicious.
They were justified in taking a cut though. That's my point. The issue is that they went about it in a very immoral way, and I agree that they should receive a peanlty.
did you miss my entire post? I think exploiting others is a pretty scumbag thing to do.
Did you miss the quote I was responding to? I already wrote it was immortal to lie to the players, but that was a different discussion.
Could I have technically done this without lying? Yes. Realistically would the tutor and student agree to it? !@#$%^&* no, it's a rip off. Who the !@#$%^&* charges an extra 100% of the pay for basically commission? And if it's without my consent? You can go to hell.
Rip off? it's not a rip off at all. The players benefit from being in the organization due to the exposure they get them. So when Azubu wants to pay the players to stream, that's comes as an indirect result of them playing for CW. On top of that, it's also the CEO of CW who arranges all the sponsor contracts in the first place.
Taking a cut from Azubu sponsor deal is 100% normal in this business. Not doing it, would be charity.
