Besides the RL nonsense, how is a lenient decision here good for esports? You are defending a guy that constantly resets his Elo so that he is able to play against low Elo opponents and stomp them. The goal is to get close to 100% win rate. So in the process he has created hundreds of completely uncompetetive ladder games with predetermined results. Other players lost or gained Elo randomly, depending on which side Yusui was one. They have no impact on how their Elo changes. What Yusui did was the exact opposite of saving esports, he made ladder games a sham. Honestly it bugs me so much that people dont understand that this kind of smurfing is just as detrimental to the competetive integrity of the ladder as boosted players or purpose feeding. | ||
