Well he's not wrong. EU teams are just morons. I think only Fnatic are reasonably smart and they were forced into that situation after Xpeke left. Who knows if they would have still kept him even after being so mediocre for so long. Problem with EU is all the dumb players have too much say. Don't have guys like Regi that just don't give a fuck what players say.

Obviously its because the players are stupid then. I for one am quite happy that it looks more like Incarnation will stay in EU. I also dont see why Rekkles would stream now and not simply go to SK. He's contracted with Elements until November.

Imo Fnatic team management was simply very lucky that the team they assembled last minute worked out. Also I think the scouting was done by Yellowstar.

Yellowstar for Steeelback and Febiven, combo of Yellowstar and their manager for Huni, IIRC. This links to a series of articles on Fnatic's rebuild, although Steeelback/Febiven only get a quick mention somewhere.

Because I doubt EL wants to pay his salary while he just streams.

Yea I tried to convey that but guess I didn't do it properly. Fnatic just stuck with the trio even while doing badly instead of trying to change things up so I don't think they are that smart, it's just their plans at least worked out. Rest of EU seems moronic imo. Elements has Froggen dictating what goes, SK I have no idea what is going on in that camp. Gambit has freaking P1noy???. Only really Dig and CST compare to the stupidity of EU I feel. It's sad since EU has so many great players and a history of being great at gaming.

There are teams in EU that have decent scouting/teambuilding, it's just none of the big names do.
For as much shit as we give Youngbuck, CW has actually built a pretty solid team out of castoffs and rejects (and Freeze), and H2K believing in Ryu/Kasing paid dividends.

Though when it comes up to 'Fnatic management', more credit should go to Steer, the manager, specifically, for the pushing he did to get Huni and then Reignover. The articles linked to in that reddit post are a good read.

To be fair YB seems to just take the best talent avalaible every single time, it just SUPRISINGLY seems to be a decent scouting method, huh.
|
Are you saying that recycling players that clearly don't cut it anymore purely based on their name recognition and prior achievements is not a decent scouting method?

Playing with moebuck is basically the EU equivalent of the hyperbolic chamber, it's why he produces such talent.

That applies to every Chinese team.

VG buying coco just to trade him for cool is fucking funny.

Also this
Zorozero, Froggen, Dexter, Tabzz&Nyph?

I'm just waiting for all the chinese roster turnover drama. Offseason is just full of half-true rumors and deals that change last minute.

Wait . . . what?
LOL

well they have to bench Dandy or Mata to play another korean so leveraging for top chinese talent is actually their best possible way to improve the team.

according to this guy Yusui has been doing really well in scrims with C9. personally, i see the chances of c9 going with yusui are 75%.
