Are you sure you didn't play Singed? zz
|
The last Singed I played again was as Nasus, and he just let me free farm, never had such an ez lane in my life lol.

It makes me sad that Feast stacks on Cho aren't permanent. Everybody else got their stacks on death mechanic changed to permanent.
Also fuck Rengar.
Seriously fuck that champion any time Rengar is good the entire game is worse for everyone.

When was the last time somebody saw a jungle Cho?
Oh and jungle Malphite. I remember when people banned that. Oddone picked Jungle Cho in LCS Spring 2013 finals v GGU. That was the last time I saw it.

I would be surprised if Cho top made a comeback, he's got one of the most legit silences in the game at this point and silences are really good. That said he didn't appear when Yasuo was in every game and he hard dumpsters Yasuo.
I guess slow cast time skill shots and a snowball mechanic are too much risk for pro teams to make him fotm

He said Cho is only good if you can consistently hit ruptures, otherwise he's not worth picking.

TOO also made quite the impact during that game, but that was because despite having the meh clear of Cho he somehow was always at the right place to deter a gank or countergank. Screw mechanics, that part impressed me.
Singed just isn't the same since his ult doesn't give him Tenacity anymore, way easier to kill or prevent from reaching you.

Chauster is a geniusssssssss. He was really seeing 2-3 years ahead with his understanding of game.

Jungle Cho actually works alright.
SmiteSlow-Rupture-Scream ganks are pretty ridiculous. Add the potential to burst kids / secure objectives with Feast and you kind of feel
Before they changed the cost on upgrading smite, I probably would have argued he has potential to be a top tier Jungler. Right now though his first clear just hurts to much.

Context? What did Chauster do with purple side 3 years ago?

Can't he, like everybody else, just take crab for the extra gold needed? He doesn't even need to start krug side because rupture fucks crabs armor.

On the topic of Froggen, he was a good player in S2 but his constant taking of the side land farm was a big factor in why CLG.eu games were so long since Yellowpete was so starved for farm.

CLG dropped out of Groups at Worlds Season 2 because they lost the coinflip multiple times and got Purple side in all of their games. The reason they gave was that all their strats were for Blue side only.
They still beat SK though so there's that.

Sure he can, but I still think that is dangerous as fuck. "Hey lets wander across the potentially warded river at 35% to 40% HP and spend 30 seconds killing a crab."
o.o
To me that seems like very minimal risk to ward that area same time every game. Free first blood basically.. if other team shows up where do you run to?

Nothing stops you from getting it 2nd while you're still mega healthy.

Pretty sure you can just buy 1 less potion at the start of the game, which you odn't need as Cho if you're doing the 3-camp thing anyway. Double-checking this 1sec.

Speaking of killing enemy junglers,
I recently saw a thing on NB's stream. NB did gromp into blue buff on purple side, and the enemy J4 did krugs without using smite, to NB's blue. The other guy made it just in time to steal NB's blue, since most people use their smite on gromp, and then kept him behind all game. Ruined NB's "undefeated" on jungle Wukong.
I took inspiration from that game and ganked a J4 at his blue as Sej. I didn't bother warding it and just did krugs -> his blue from purple side. I came in just in time for the smite steal on blue, and then burned his flash and I'm pretty sure forced him to back. Then I stole the next blue and kept him just slightly under my level because J4 clears faster and jungle experience is raised for underleveled junglers. He did eventually outlevel me but that's unimportant. It seems like a pretty reliable and safe tactic. If you're good enough to predict the enemy jungler's clear path 80% of the time then you'll make it in time to contest their buff, get it, and burn a summoner or get a kill.
If you mispredict their starting buff you can just take it. It's pretty safe considering everyone's clear paths.
If you run over a ward, and for some reason mid or top are pushed already so the enemy reacts, you can waste their time and potentially still escape.
It reminds me of the S3 shenanigans where smiting the enemy buff gave you level 3 and no one had trinkets. Got so many flashes, free buffs, and first bloods that way.

Confirming that starting machete+1pot leaves you with enough for jungle upgrade after 3 camps, at Cho's speed. Also that Cho only needs 1 pot for 3 camps. I had 15 gold extra, so even if you clear a bit faster than I did you should be fine.
