He's on like 14 win streak, he was on 12 when he were queued together.
He didn't mention he's boosting account and I've met a couple of people claiming that they're picking mid/adc, because they're plat+ and they're boosting and they proceeded to feed in a hardcore way, lol.
He was average to say at most, enemy team was just pretty damn crap.

He dies a lot and his cs is pathetic in virtually every game. I am astonished he won 10 games in a row with stats like this o.o I have a friend who average 6.6/6.6/6.8 with 326 wins and used to be d1 ~90p now he is 40 doe lol.

I've had around 80% winrate on Vi and ~60% on Jax with higher deaths than kills (but a kinda high amount of assists, esp. on Vi) just because when I do well I transition to "die to give my team an ace" or straight-up play badly after a good start, 3-0-1 -> 4-3-2 as Vi, but since I got my lanes ahead by so much early on they carry me.

They're trying out a Korean. Monte has been working with him on communication and they are flying him out for scrim trials to see how it works. Apparently they played in this season of Champions.
|
Wasn't it a player from previous season of Champions? Also don't treat what exLD players say about roster changes seriously, they are having lots of funs with speculations (recently Mithy changed nick to CLG Zorozero, zoro to Dig Nukeduck and nuke to TSM Mithy).
|
Didn't Monte said he'd chose someone that can clearly communicate with the team ? It has to be a korean speaking good english, that's pretty rare...

actually he said pretty much the opposite

That was before we knew Nien decided to retire, he probably changed his mind, or always meant that his player doesn't actually need very good english. He said that his player needs to be able to communicate well outside of the game, perhaps he changed his mind on what communication outside of game means and whether, for example, using simpler terms would overcome the language barrier.

crushing noobs is a universal language

How is link's korean? If it's decent he could be a big help in helping with communication if they import a korean top laner.
|

Not sure if it is true or not, someone Said that Hai said that Hai will go to Paris after all.
|
"We can teach comms/teamwork." doesn't mean "teach a whole language in a few weeks" to me.

TBH you don't need much communication when you're playing top lane lol
|
the skill gap between korean and na top laners is so big that any bumps in the road caused by miscommunication will be easily smoothed over by winning lane virtually every game.
|
How can you say a certain role requires less communication, this is a team game folks, and if you have a stale matchup, you should focus spare attention on other things to help your team.

I doubt it. I seriously doubt it.
I think individual strengths wise NA is really not that behind. NA lacks teamfighting decision making and general strategies/execution/teamwork/communication.
