+ Show Spoiler + as my personal view is that e-sports (in a lot of titles) is currently in danger of becoming too analytic. If he means the casting, I strongly disagree with this. Most popular casters everywhere are just the "loud" types and I never learn anything new from casters, only when they invite pro players to cast some games. (Montecristo is an exception).

I tend to agree with Chobra a bit. Although I hate the "loud" types, I want to hear about what's going on in the game, not what could possibly go on or why the build works the way it does. The way I outline it is, I think I should be able to listen to the audio and constantly grasp what's going on in the game without checking out the video. Although analysis is important, I think that the play-by-play should be prioritized. If I want to learn basics about builds and such, I won't watch a professional cast, I'll check out VODs, player streams, forums, and practice customs. If I'm watching a professional cast, I don't want people to teach me basics, I want them to tell me what's going on in the game. At the same time though, it is important to make newcomers and beginners feel comfortable. It's because of these aspects that being a caster/commentator is a tough job. We, as viewers, all have different opinions, but I do feel the need for the role of caster/commentator to be fixed in an optimal fashion. Oh, and I love this interview. Chobra's responses are great, he's an awesome interviewee. Thanks Chexx!
