Her Q range nerf was specifically targetted at her laning. Its mana cost got increased too. Her Q was her main tool during the laning phase and arguably the fundamental reason why she was good at laning.

Thanks to these last few posts I just went 8/3/16 with jungle Lulu in gold. It's legit, in low levels of play too. The sheer amount of CC and utility made ganking fairly easy. First clear really isn't that bad, I had 2 potions left and at full health after a standard blue->wolves->wraith->red. It's not Udyr-fast, but definitely not Warwick-slow either.

His stun is super fast so it's really hard to avoid if you aren't facing a bad Xerath, and contrary to spells like Infected Cleaver it has almost 0 upswing. Makes him way harder to dive/chase than before. He doesn't 100-0 people as reliably as before, but picking off stragglers after a fight is super easy because his ult is hard to dodge (and very underwhelming graphically T_T) and with some CDR he's going to spam high% slows and stuns.

His ult is on such a short CD as well. I still prefer him pre-rework (inb4 someone claims I just hate everything Riot does). The rooting ability was a pre-rework had a pretty cool interaction with the rest of his abilities. Also, he's no longer the tank buster he used to be, %mr reduction was so strong against tanks.
