EPTHis shield is bonkers, but the rest of his kit feels awkward. His roll, while it gives great mobility, is just so hard to use. It tends to save enemies more than anything plus the turn radius on it is huge so it's not exactly easy to curve behind them. I've been trying to use it in a more Eve-esque fashion where I attempt to flank them, but that's not easy either. His ult is strong, but the radius is comparatively tiny and when you add the cast time it's actually kinda hard to hit optimally w/out blink.

i think ymir is stronger in the same role. same health and magic resist base stats but ymir is a little better on physical resist with a load of cc that is useful in a heads up situation like you usually find in the duo lane. geb makes up for worse physical resist with his passive which will let him tank more autos late game. geb can get around a little easier and escape easier with his rolling ball but i'm not sure how much that is worth. the shield is the wild card it can really save your carry so i must learn to master the shield. but imagine both ymir and geb ults on the same group of people :O i want to try that in arena. I'm having a real problem not having useful 600 dollar shoes to buy at the start lol. I have no idea what to buy on anyone now. | ||

The $300 boots are awkward, but I think it's ok. On hunter I've been starting Devo gloves + boots 1 + red pot + health pot. It seems to be working really well, but none of my lane opponents did the same, so I'm not sure yet. I'll have to play more games in ranked to see what works. | ||
