Think I'd rather have thin crepes with accompaniment (honey, jam, a spray of sugar, butter... but no nutella, no, damn, screw that "thing", stop spoiling food by mixing it into it) folded up, than thick pancakes. Doesn't look as appetising to me. it's just different, I mean I'm not exactly a crepe expert but I've always thought of crapes as a side i.e. the fruit or whatever else you add is the star of the show. where pancakes are about the pancake. I think iHop has them but I had them at a local joint in the Boston area once. OH MY GOD, I don't even want to know what the nutritional content was it was so good.

Do people in general eat pancakes without anything added (syrup or whatever)? Cause if not its just as much about pancakes as with crepes :p

A pancake is just kind of like a flat sponge that gets soggy with syrup after a while.

I don't know where you come from but where I live in frying pans are flat too Yeah I used to spread nutella on pancakes when I was little but nowadays I buy that liquid chocolate thing like the one on the crepes photo Requizen posted

Sometimes i have maple syrup, sometimes i have a fruit reduction sauce, sometimes i have fresh cinnamon whipped cream. I just generalized all three.
