My Riven sucks too, but whenever I pick her (which is rare, as I hate playing top lane) I end up stomping for some reason. I just have a major pet peeve with bad Rivens. I avoid the free weeks because I see people rushing FM and making me want to rage. When Riven had her time in the sun during Spring NALCS, it seemed like everybody bought her and battle bunny before jumping straight into ranked.
I liked it when nobody played her.

On the contrary.
The higher your ELO, the more likely you are to live in a gaming house with its own cook, and the less likely you are to know how to make pancakes

Wow, there are a lot of variations...

I wouldn't call them pancakes, not in the American sense anyways. Also the name is just a name i don't think it's actually 1000 layers

I just kind of cycle through them when I play her, which hasn't been often as of late though. I think her laning can be kind of annoying, maybe I should try her again to see if I can still dunk with her.

My pancakes are: 200g of flour 2 eggs 400ml milk in this ratio then put on a frying pan (I do it on teflon so I don't use oil) and when done you can spread nutella or just sugar+cinnamon OR my mum used to make them with spinach and some other stuff but I am too lazy to do that, but it is awesome too.
Wow Alaric what is that fat abomination I bet it's american LOl

I love how completely disjoint the Trundle skin is from the splash. Like, it's not even close anymore.

americans will view pancake as the most common pancake in their area, europeans in theirs.

Yeah I think we can forgive Scip and chalk this up to a translation error.
When I lived in India what Scip makes was referred to as pancakes.
|
Scrip's recipe looks like it would just taste like eggs >.>, I think Alaric might be calling crapes pancakes too, because those aren't really thick. Do what Americans call pancakes exist in Europe?
|
Scip's is true pancakes. Not even up for discussion.

TIL that Czech Republic doesn't have salt or sugar.

look, if you're in the only country in the world that matters aside from SK and you order pancakes, you get this

these are crepes

it's not a hard concept

We've got no term for "pancake" in France so we just call it "pancakes" as an anglicism apparently, but they're still viewed as an English/American thing, crepes are much more popular (and widespread).
Think I'd rather have thin crepes with accompaniment (honey, jam, a spray of sugar, butter... but no nutella, no, damn, screw that "thing", stop spoiling food by mixing it into it) folded up, than thick pancakes. Doesn't look as appetising to me.
|
also I thought Crapes were thin because they were cooked on a flat iron but apparently Scrip makes them in a pan and still thinks pancakes are huge?
