Most people don't know to look for restreams, so that's an issue of poor communication on both sides. I watch the LCS and I love the game and I want the scene to grow, but I personally honestly don't really care what Ozone's coach has to say about anything, and whenever they put a progamer in front of a camera to say anything it more often than not tends to be awkward and/or uninteresting. A progamer actually playing the game is like a clumsy, fat sea-lion once it reaches the water; it suddenly becomes graceful and impressive, and that's what I'm in it for. I mean that's fine, not everyone has to be super invested in the pro scene. It's just weird that all these people claim that they want this content but many of them would never take the time to even read it anyway. This content already exists in many forms but a lot of the people in that thread comment in ways that make them seem unaware of it. Edit: Also I think the fact it's Ozone's coach is partially irrelevant, if he has interviewed imp it probably would have gotten a similar response since he is relatively unknown by the general r/lol populace.

"TeamLiquid Exclusive Interview with MVP Ozone/Blue Coach, Im Hyun-seok. Coaching decisions, life at the team house, and upcoming players to the MVP lineup in the future." That title is TLDR. You should have called it like: "Teamliquid Exclusive: Life on a Korean Pro-Team!" or "Teamliquid Exclusive: Korean Pro-Team Coach Calls NA and EU Trash!" get like 5x the views imoimo, gotta up your sensationalism.

I just played a game with him and he felt the same as I left him. Is it more about the meta w/ the number of AD bruisers he is likely to face or something or has he fallen out of favor so just nobody plays him worth a damn anymore? Iirc Mima played him in OGN and wrecked everybody. So I would say people just forgot about him.

Also lest we forget inSec on Jungle Gragas! Gragas in viable but just not played a lot. Also his ult can easily fuck up team fights if you're not careful.

He's never had a very high winrate as far as I know. He's much stronger in organized play than in soloque for a few reasons. 1. He's got good burst but really bad sustained damage in teamfights, teams have to instantly capitalize on his combo. 2. He doesnt carry too well unless you get obscenely fed. You do your QR and that has to be enough damage to win the teamfight. If it is, great. If not, then there isn't much else you can do. 3. His barrel is relatively hard to hit, hard champs lose because the average player sucks (see syndra).

I blew it? I did short, terse titles for reddit before and I was suggested by the SC admins to have longer, more detailed titles instead. So I guess it goes to show that you can't please everyone. Up sensationalism? Sound pretty stupid considering everything TeamLiquid was build upon. No thanks.

I figured the sensationalism part was sarcasm. At least that's how I took it >_>

It was when they made his E 1050 range and 50 mana. Then they nerfed it a bit and then they nerfed his ult too when the realized how good it already. I'll never say he's a godly champ because, as you point out, you get to Q+r (which is really good) but then his cd's get in the way and E'ing into the team is dangerous. It's just weird that he's not seen with a bit more success given that he really isn't that hard to play compared to some other popular champs (orianna, lee sin, etc).

I mean, that is what you would have to do if you wanted to appeal to the masses of Reddit. If Redditors wanted TL they would just come to TL. I mean personally who cares, but that's how Reddit works. Pretty sure it was 1050 movespeed....although it would be pretty awe inspiring to see Gragas body slam the range of a shock blast.

The fact is that there is not a single good interview about the meta, balance, imbalance, or anything worth listening to. There are only 2 types of interview content out their: #1. Grilled. AKA a comprehensive interview about a pro's career, but lacking insight into the future. and #2. Statements by publicists. Or the equivalent thereof. AKA every lol postgame interview ever conducted + all red posts on lol forums, + recaps given by players. The closest thing we get to a useful and interesting interview is when Doublelift gets mad during a travis interview and says "Draven sucks" or something.
