I completely agree with you guys, if you lack commitment you better off benched. BUT We also have to consider why he exactl he was benched, so imma ask you ( especially scip since you're challenger an play with the pros all the time) Do you honestly think grinding 2 hours of soloq in top of their 8 hour practice schedule will help them significantly to obtain that "edge" sob3k was talking about earlier? Sure cyanide, peke, soaz have motivation cause they get 10-20k viewers $$$. But instead of trolling a few hours in soloq learning nothing valuable for his lcs games and even hating it, he is probably better of having a nice date with his gf. With a balanced life he's probably going less mentally streased into the games than the rest. Now if he hates to sit down for extra team meetings/ strategy craft or replay analysis that would be a whole differet story of course but being benched for not playing soloQ l0l. I types this on the phone so i didnt bother rechecking all their statements so maybe i got some facts wrong but the way i see it now is that n-rated was the scapegoat for fnatics current slump although he performed ok, which also conveniently opens the way for rekkles zo smoothl transition into the team. Yellowstar just happened to have more friends on the team. | ||

he got picked because of underperforming and not willing to train harder to make up for it nobody would kick a teammember because they want to have a gf this is not a job this is sports the highest performance wins if cyanide wanted to only play X hours a day and wasnt up to par on skill fnatic can just hire scip who probably will play like all day anyway also for all your people hating on soloq I have yet to see a dominant player who didn't manage to dominate in solo q you can usually track performance of teams based on recent solo q performance to reasonble accuracy as well like elementz being stuck at 1800 and shit when clg were dominant hotshot was top of solo q | ||

Its like how the economy took a hit a few years back and jobs we're really fucking hard to come by. Then add to the fact that its an extremely difficult job to land in the first place and you're one of hundreds of perfectly qualified applicants, then put that situation on a metric shit-ton of crack, speed and extacy and you have being a pro-gamer. You have to distinguish yourself somehow and be 100% committed, if you're not, there are plenty of other people who would relish the opportunity and put in double the amount of work. | ||

I'd probably have taken a beating (until I bought BFS while he sat on vamp+ruby+long sword) if he maxed Q, despite outfarming him and being 2 kills up on him. As Pantheon. I was less surprised by the damage than to see a Gold I player keep the Tear -> max and evolve W build though, it didn't do much for him. | ||
