I guess if the enemy carry is fed as fuck, you'll have multiple players default to Omen asap, even if your ADC (throw in a Frozen Heart too for good measure) and you mitigate the ADC reasonably. For AP carries, I would say most of their damage would have to come from landing skill shots and maximizing their spell volley to hitting the most targets possible/hitting the right targets. But after that initially volley, there's that lull of damage. So essentially, burst vs consistent DPS. Frankly, I don't think we need FoN back. There are fewer options but people also tend to forget about Hexdrinker and Chalice/Grail. Add in Bulwark and Visage to that and I think we're ok. If there's going to be more MR items, I hope the MR is worked in to some type of multi niche item, like a Hexdrinker/Chalice and not a full on defensive item like FoN.
