On the other hand, wtf with everybody saying Xspecial is the best NA support all of a sudden ? You never saw Patoy or what ? Bloodwater up there too. Gotta rep my hipster support picks. Not gunna lie though; those janna nados against china were pretty fucking supreme.

Xspecial is pretty average as a support, it's just that he's by far the one having the most visibility.

It's not like any of the NA supports are particularly amazing. You're talking marginal differences between them.

Personally i dont expect much out of chausterlift. Certainly not enough that it warrants a tripl roster an role swap 2 weeks before the next season starts. In addition to that the have 2 guys who have to learn a new role within 2 weeks.
Doesnt boost my confidence either that chauster has said quite a few times that he hates support.
Really hard to be a fan, after relegation and doubles beast allstar performance i thought they were on a good way but now they basically reset themselves to preseason. I guess it cant be helped if hotshot wants to retire and aphro prob sick of supporting and prefers comfortable streaming moneyz

Who does the shot calling in CLG? I assumed it was Hotshotgg this whole time

Chauster's always been shotcaller for CLG, one of the reasons Saint left/kicked. Although they've always had the problem that everyone argues with the shotcaller in-game and they get all disjointed.

clg thinks that chauster should do it but he apparently doesn't feel comfortable doing it so its kind of a mess but improving i guess.

They've been grooming Chauster to do it for several months.

i like everyone on CLG right now. i think i will cheer for them in this season.
Aphro to Crs as new support player, please.

I understand that Chau-lift hasn't been on the scene for nearly a year. But damn, ya'll forgot about that botlane dominance. To be honest, botlane hasn't changed shit since season 2, except for more frequent 2v1 lanes.

Im not sold on Nien top, nor Jiji jungle. I do like the fact we have chaulift back bot because Lift needs someone to macro control him. his mechanics and micro is top notch, but having chauster strategically play him around like a chess piece is what made them good back in the days, and hopefully will again now.

I'm confident we could handle an influx of new users. Good with the bad and we can handle the bad np.I've said time and again, I would like to make TL the hub of quality LoL discussion.
So what you're saying is that I should start the ass kissing now so that you'll give me a ban hammer for the rowdy /r/lol bandwagoners?
On a more serious note, ever since I started playing LoL back in Christmas of 2011 - it has slowly and surely become my favorite game. It got me thinking about my progression of favorite games.
NBA Jam -> Rayman -> Mario Kart 64 -> Super Smash Brothers -> Age of Empires II (MSN Gaming Zone FTW) -> SC and SC:BW -> Call of Duty 1 (the only good one. No crosshairs, rifles only) -> Counter Strike 1.6 and Source -> Super Smash Brothers / Mario Kart 64 (relapse!) -> SC2 -> LoL
I was only serious about improving with CSS and SC2 (then again, that had a lot to do with the 1 hour computer limit until I got a laptop for college). When I get back to the states, getting good at LoL is definitely going to happen (instead of playing AP Mid Trist and other trolly/fun stuff).
And on that note, when I move back to the states it will be right before S5. How many seasons you think Riot and LoL can keep up?

I haven't seen jiji play jungle at all. Does he tend to play more aggressive junglers a la Saint or has he been playing more of a support style of jungle?

If the other AD has higher range or is stronger early then your AD will be behind in CS. But once you reach Lv5 you're fine vs pretty much anyone except when getting hooked. Most poke champions will let you get to Lv5 no problem, but you can't do it vs people who can hard engage like Thresh. Outside of lane phase she has one of the best support skillsets. Actually, there's an easy solution to this. There's a guy on EUW challenger (i think) called funny style bro, he plays mostly tp smite adyi and soraka support. He starts cloth and runs barrier and gets starcall at level 1 and just all ins and rapes. (often rushing ninja tabi first item) Starcall is like the strongest dps spell at level 1 and you can trade with a dblade AD carry and their support at the same time with q and then heal up with pots and all in and level 2 or something. It turns soraka from a weak until level 5 support to a strong all the time support. I actually started running barrier on sona too because its the same situation but she's a bit weaker against all ins but stronger harass.
I've only won about 50:50 games recently however 1 game we had 2 ppl dc when we were way ahead, the 2nd game crahsed when we again we were ahead and looking for a 20 min surrender, and the 3rd game we were way ahead but we started to throw and we had some useless heros like lee sin lategame and froggens ap kog just basically won the game singlehandely. I haven't played a game recently with this and felt soraka was weak yet
