This causes it to clamp your rank points to prevent promotion.
I just tried this out. Was gaining 20ish LP a game and then after promotion, was only gaining like 5-8. I lost 3, then won another one - only 6 LP

Same. Pinky is for shift/ctrl modifiers, not for Q.

I have the same bug MrTolkien experienced with the connection error "Connection failure: unable to connect PvP blahblah..." on EUW. Is there any way to fix this besides restarting your computer every time ? This is getting annoying.
Also I'm using two screens and we're all familiar with the borderless glitch, I tried using the move the "windows toolbar on the side" trick, or the task manager thing but all it does is fixing it by going fullscreen on... my secondary monitor. It doesn't really help me play (vertical display on that screen) so I have to restart the client anyway, which would normally be fine, except I can't log back in unless I reboot Com-Pu-Tor ;_; because of the new EUW glitch.
halp me fix either of these bug plz, I'm getting all stressed and it's not good for my body
TLDR: Client crippled with bugs can't play league

I'm a scrub and play the way Riot depicts. Probably because I've never played an RTS or something. I just drop my pinky down for shift if I need the modification.

i use the pinky shift style too. that's mostly because i'm used to having my hands near the control key for hotkeys. that and i also use smartcast with shift

I use my pinkey for Q. Idk the way I arch my fingers it's still pretty comfortable just having them in a line.

I'm just used to using pinky for keys like ctrl, shift and stuff like that. Holdover from BW but imo it's probably better since the Q skill is usually the most spammable and your pinky is typically the weakest finger so it doesn't make much sense to put your pinky on Q.
