NAME: NEIL “PR0LLY” HAMMAD
POSITION: MID LANE
Description: Sarcasm is a fine art – one that’s nigh impossible to portray successfully online. Being taken seriously is perhaps even harder. Ex-Legion and ex-Dirtnap Gaming’s Neil “pr0lly” Hammad is such a man that he’s achieved both; he has one of the most energetic and coy interview styles in League of legends, while at the same time, the most deadpan playstyle of an American mid-laner. Citing Season 3’s change in resistance-penetration and item roster as the catalyst for more aggressive play, pr0lly has thrived in the mid-lane by simply overpowering his opponents in one-on-one encounters. Always one step ahead of the meta-game, pr0lly frequently uses new strategies and odd champions to counter what’s popular now and set the tone for what will be popular months from now.
NAME: CRISTIAN “CRIS” ROSALES
POSITION: TOP LANE
Description: Hailing from Mexico, Cris has overcome his fair share of troubles inside and outside of the game to become one of the premier solo laners in North America. A player initially known for his bad attitude and troll-like manner, as well as his penchant for mastering Riven, Cris has shown a dedication to learning the ins and outs of every top-lane matchup that can’t be matched. He’s the kind of player who wants to put the past behind him and prove that his image before was just a façade. You might have used any of the following adjectives to describe the ex-Dirtnap Gaming top-laner: “ghoster,” “troll,” “one-trick pony,” or “rager.” But thanks to his slippery play style and smothering laning, he’ll dispel all the accusations and have you know him by only one word come mid-season LCS tournament: “winner.”
NAME: EVAN “EVANISKUS” STEVENS
POSITION: SUPPORT
Description: Describing himself as the violin at the rock concert, Evan “Evaniskus” Stevens is the level, serious one on the team. He hails from a background at Pulse E-sports and Team Dignitas, and understands the concept that any practice not taken seriously is a waste of time. Evanisksus will often be the voice that leads an excited or disheartened team back into a focused mood. His time spent outside of practice is hardly any different – Evaniskus uses his solo queue time not to blow off steam but to master more champions and learn more of the ever-evolving matchups in bot lane. Be it Blitzcrank hooks or clutch Lulu ults, he’s on point with his skills as much as he is with his game knowledge – and yes, he even lifts.
NAME: ANDREW “NK INC” ERICKSON
POSITION: JUNGLER
Description: Hailing from the IPL5 start-ups Meat Playground, Andrew “Nk Inc” exploded onto the scene as a fresh-faced jungler taking a series away from the more established FeaR gaming before losing to American powerhouse TSM. Not one to be shaken by literally anything, Nk’s champion pool has grown with his experience in competitive play and he’s one of the most diverse American junglers today. Playing the fiddle to Evaniskus’ violin, Nk’s attitude is such that he can’t help but inspire energy and communication in his teammates. When he’s not crushing opponents with his innovative ganks in League of Legends, you can catch Nk Inc mastering other games or telling jokes about your mother in voice-chat.
NAME: AINSLIE “FROMMAPLESTREET” WYLLIE
POSITION: AD CARRY
Ainslie started his League of Legends career as “that guy who plays Draven.” He still entertains jokes about it, and earns a respect ban on Draven in every single competitive game. After news got out that he was TSM Jungler TheOddOne’s younger brother, he became “TheOddOne’s little bro.” He’s learned to embrace that title as well, often tackling solo queue in tandem with his kin on stream. But despite similar mannerisms, frommaplestreet wants to prove that he’s not his older brother’s shadow, and that his impeccable attention to micro and mechanics will carry him to the next level – give him a few major tournaments to prove himself, and frommaplestreet will have you calling TheOddone “maple’s older brother” instead.
