Can't say it was a bad idea viewing the team comp tho, but he feels stronger with aggressive ADs

Just not easy team to engage against as skarner. Vlad pools/Sona Ult/Ashe kite+ult
You just end up taking so much dmg looking for that perfect grab.

It's a bad idea when he never hits a useful arrow and is against Malphite/Orianna without managing to Flash their combo :/

I thought the skarner pick was suboptimal by CLG, in that game. It's not like HSGG was bursting whoever was being picked down, so most of the damage was coming from Orianna, and Ez, not really enough burst (theoretically, but DL was pretty farmed/fed).

So I tried out Twisted Treeline and it hasn't changed a bit. Patch notes aren't in effect I suppose on NA.

Holy crap blitz/sona got hit hard, Sona especially, she's squishier than a melee minion at level 1 =/. I still think Rengar is a bit strong, but no longer absolutely broken.
Tristana, especially AP trist is better.
DFG: Got hit extremely hard, no CDR reduces the reason for a lot of champions to buy it since most AP mids valued having 39% CDR with DFG+blue buff. Buying a non-high damage item (grail etc) just to get CDR isn't as appealing.
Nothing much really big in this patch though beyond 40 health off of sona and 50 health off of blitz. I'm willing to wager that if you go leona/taric, bait a level 3/2 grab and then instagib the blitz is well within the realm of possibility, it'll take one less autoattack to kill him. He's still got mana barrier but still, he'll be squishy.
