IMHO the community is not clearly sensitive enough when it comes to flaming. I dont understand why its so hard to build this community on positive stuff, not "get cancer" talk. :< The league community would honestly be a lot better without reddit. It's the worst source of drama. Imagine if we didn't have reddit, no one would really care about Froggen flaming some random guy in one game. No one would really care about Dyrus. Even when we've talked about drama on TL it's been relatively civil. On reddit it's basically a ton of people shit talking pro players or teams non-stop and getting worked up over the smallest shit. Compared to what the pro players were like a year or so ago the stuff Froggen said in that one game was nothing compared to some of the shit Hotshot or ocelote used to pull on a daily basis. reddit is like the best league site dont be jealous funniest shit happens on reddit and dont lie every single one of you here browses reddit anyways lol Reddit is awful. Its cyclejerks being brought to the next level. If I take a short look there because its linked somewhere I am always disgusted by the amount of pointless drama going on there.
And its annoying that I have to read about reddit drama even here.

AD is probably my least favorite role so take this with a grain of salt but:
If you push down the tower early, your team can force mid/top. In solo queue forcing top after getting bottom generally requires too much communication/team work that your team will ignore. (You push then head to mid, mid goes top with jungler.) But you can push mid.
When pushing mid it opens up even more doors. If their AD stays and farms your team should have a number advantage. If the AD continues farming you continue pushing. If you see him heading towards mid you can potentially intercept him in the jungle. If nothing else you'll force the other team to choose between helping each other or farming, and in soloQ the more often you can force a response from the opponent the more likely they'll make a bad choice.

The thing I think about SoloQ (esp in lower elos) you can't predict your teammates or the enemies reactions based on higher play. People simply don't make the "correct" choices a majority of the time about what to do. All you can do is try to be a leader and try to rally your team to the best course of action for what is happening currently in the game. Just try to be respectful. One thing I have learned from SoloQ is that anyone's credibility is very fragile. You can go from that awesome player whom people will listen to, to that guy who got caught once and therefore is a noob who needs to be ignored/flamed very easily. The opposite can happen as well as you can maybe have a terrible lane phase and you get flammed but make some plays and people pay attention. Tempers so very volatile.

I have almost 1000 ranked games played and i'm like 1800 elo. I've found that I've never really been flamed unless I type something that somehow incites people to flame me. 99% of the time no one will flame you if you don't type much into chat. >:

After you push down bot, you try to get mid and dragon, if the enemy bot freezes they lose objectives as a team, if he pushes back then you push back also, pretty straight forward imo and definitely not a reason people lose games.

Ferus (or whatever their next next name ends up being) should just go full circle and bring back Atlanta.
Kidding.

you get 10x more useful information from reddit than from tl
at least you get news on reddit on tl you dont get anything except people stroking each others egos

Usually if the AD is shitting on his lane he can take command and start pushing down other towers and take control of the map. The whole thing of AD's being super important lategame yet being super fed early usually leads to good morale in solo q where you can take control of literally everything. Dragon, enemy buffs, push towers, take their jungle and ward deep, etc. From towers and dragons even if your lanes are behind they'll usually get ahead or become even to the other laner from global gold, and then you can bait barons or siege inhib turrets. It partially depends on teamcomps too of course, but normally if you're a fed AD you won the game unless your teamcomp completely sucks or you throw really hard an don't push advantages. x_x
Edit: The IDEA behind reddit is great. The community not so much.

Edit: As for Reddit, the trick is to pretend the comment section doesn't exist. It makes it much better.

In my experience, at least 70% of the time when a lane is losing i see people blaming the jungler and flipping their shit, and even if the jungler doesn't respond, a lot of the time they keep ragging on him anyways. I usually end up muting those guys tho.

I usually end up muting those guys tho. One thing that I've grown to accept is that if I feed my lane, there is no one to blame but myself. Would it have been different if the jungle came to my lane and helped (or if they did, if their ganks weren't awful)? Probably, I might have won. But if I'm behind and I still feed and get further behind, that's my bad play and I just didn't play smart and safe. Most people don't seem to understand this concept though, because it's easier to blame someone else for your poor performance.

Reddit is a news and content aggregation site. If you treat it as anything else, it's rage inducing.

on the topic of gd, there are so many drama and LR posts in here now it's getting hard to read, i end up skipping 10+ pages at a time. People hardly ever yell at each other over game related stuff which is what i come here for. On the topic of reddit, if you are going there for news, there isn't any, lol, anything even vaguely interesting that is "news" you can get just reading the devtracker and everything else newsy on there is drama. It's kind of a video game, there's not a whole lot of "news" day to day about it.

it was a fanfic after hotshot benches Saint, damn it how could you guys forget that.
it was an epic forumpost with epic background music and hilarois to read.
