Do not play jungle if you want to raise ELO. Lanes will throw everything and blame you for not ganking every lane every second ever. However, I don't trust anyone else to do a decent job jungling :\ Also Noc is the most OP jungler ever at ELOs where people don't realize near-global ult on a jungle = don't push your lane. | ||

EDIT: what is the deal with those 600 ping streaks? I thought it was my internet, but got the bright idea to speedtest at the same time in windowed mode and literally had 19 there, and 667 in LoL. Then I feel like a noob blaming lag, but it can't be helped. Is this from the new patch? I have crashed ad d/c repeatedly, but I wasnt aware it would cause these latency issues too | ||

Sometimes you may deserve the blame, but eh. had a jungler not recognize that i was being camped in mid lane and never came to help me out despite my asking for it, and stating that i was being camped, even pinging the malphite jungle sitting on top of my ward saying look here he is again at half hp, come get him. that game i was ganked around 12 times in the first 10 minutes died only once, but man was i flamed by him for it. it's like mid lane was a small camp in his route. then again, every time i play mid i'm ganked pretty much once a minute. it must be my aggressive ass playstyle mid, i do find myself inbetween the enemy and his own minions often.  vlad/gragas mid as a dota player so my escape skills too good. lolOn June 28 2012 13:07 GhandiEAGLE wrote: What are these lee sin, malphite, and maokai bugs that everyone is talking about? I want to know before I play maokai or Lee Sin again >.< If you dash to any character (like with the 2nd Q or the shield with lee sin, the twisted advance of maokai) and you take any instance of damage or CC you have a chance of getting caught on the model of the other character (since you dash INTO them) and are unable to issue commands for up to 5 seconds (dunno what increases decreases length, but never been screwed up more than 5 seconds), while still being targetable. it makes dashing to someone under a turret a gamble that you might just die immediately to. malphite does somethign similar, except he does his little walk in place animation instead, at the end of his ultimate. | ||

But as for Lee/Mao, when you try to use a skill that jumps to a person (Lee's Q/ Mao's W), you'll sometimes get stuck in mid air, completely vulnerable. | ||

Jungle actually is the best role by far for raising elo... Every jungler at under 2000 is terrible and if you know your jungling you can snowball every single lane while helping lanes in need. For instance jungle alistar is such an easy stomper it's incredible. | ||

Push lane all the way to enemy turret when you're Talon? Blame the jungle. Give the first 4 kills to the enemy Sivir? Jungle's fault for not ganking at 2. Annie dies instantly in a teamfight? Why is the jungle not tanky enough to take that damage for her? You're either godly or blamed for everything. And it's hard to be godly when every mistake that your team makes is your fault, haha. | ||

Assuming you are significantly better than your opponents, even if you are crushing the other guy into the ground, being up 50%+ CS and 2-3 levels along with a few kills, you can still lose if the rest of the team is feeding because you don't have the map presence. Top and bot lane doesn't really have map presence until towers go down. Mid is slightly better in terms of map presence, but if you feed a jungler, you now have pressure on all lanes AND their jungler. | ||

But they are going to do that even if you weren't the one jungling. Now if you can turn them going 0-5 in lane because they are retards into 2 successful counterganks and make them go 2-0 early on and then actually win the lane... That alone can win a game. | ||
