That might've been the straw that broke the camels back, but there's quite a bit in there that's unbecoming of an employee and seems reasonable grounds for a termination . | ||

Supports do need gold, and if you're not getting it from gp10 items, you'd need to get it from farming. But farm on supports is pretty much blasphemy in solo queue. This is true in DotA as well, and hence the skill of support farming is comparatively under-developed. It's only really in Chinese DotA where support farming is somewhat acceptable in pubs, and farming supports really happens in competitive games. Support farming is a skill--it's arguably harder to know when you can and should farm on a support than on a carry. But it's a skill that you pretty much can't practice in solo queue, because your team will go bonkers. Hence players don't get practice doing it, and continue to just take the easy way out buying gp10 in competitive games, which perpetuates the idea that supports shouldn't get farm. | ||

He had to change his game name to not be harassed ingame. He took down the stream recordings as he wasn't supposed to show that. For like a month after the event people got his real name and number and called his parents harassing them. Like it's bad enough thst he lost his job, the harassing part was just icing on the cake. People need to learn the difference between real life and a game.... I'm sure half the people who crucified him were some 14 year olds who never worked before... >_> Like it's one thing of fucking up, it's another thing for people to treat him like some fucking terrorist and trying to ruin his life over a game. | ||
