For one I think you can take offense to things without it being a result of some kind of vulnerability flaw, and for another I think there are things that if you don't take offense to them you're being overly apathetic and accepting of the standard of internet culture. Secondly if you take offense at something it doesn't mean it has to change or that you specifically hate the people it just means you don't approve of the thinking behind it. | ||

At the very least it's the least you can do to wait for him to admit defeat first. saying gg when you can see the mate in 2 moves is more like saying gg when you ace them 3v5 and get baron then all base . sure the game is pretty much a forgone conclusion but it isn't over and i would consider it bm coming from the winning team. it is quite different from saying gg when the surrender vote succeeds or when they all have 20 seconds on respawn the inhib towers are down and there are 6 super minion on their nexus. at that point the game is over and there is nothing that can change the outcome short of a counter surrender. | ||

As explained above me it is clearly outlined when the game is over in LoL and that's why GG can be said by both teams first/at the same time without being rude. I'd generally agree with you. Everyone that played a variety of video games for years will understand gg as a virtual handshake. However, LoL's player base is so big because a lot of kids, teenagers and douches play this game, too. And those will never get or learn it. For them, saying anything when they lose is a reportable offense. Wouldn't be too bad, but unfortunately there are hundreds of thousands of them since LoL might be the very first competitive video game they play. And I personally consider adapting to that (in addition to the fact that I don't really want to virtually handshake people that say that go super mad when they lose). So I usually don't say anything at the end of the game, doesn't matter if I win or lose. Exceptions being when I win and every enemy player types "gg" or I lose and I admit that they completely outplayed me and my team. | ||
